I called to note that while Rush's proposed invovlement would have been minor and behind the scenes we are forced to watch Keith Olbermann on Sunday Night Football front and center for two hours every game.
He is an extremenly divisive person who called Michelle Malkin a "bag of meat with lipstick on" this week.
If the NFL is really serious about keeping "divisive" people away from their franchise and brand they must remove Olbermann from his highly visible post.
I'd call NBC and complian, but they have obviously already taken sides in the culture war.
For those still planning on attending NFL games this week,
how about taking along some protest signs?
Excellent point.
Mark Levin and Jesse Lee Peterson have called for boycotts. Anyone know of other?
Sears is also a sponsor on the NFL website
Frankly, I haven’t watched an NFL game this season although I’ve watched plenty of college games. They are a lot more fun. The NFL is looking like the NBA - a bunch of egotistical thugs hired by a bunch of greedheads.
The NFL has already FReeped itself. We don’t need to life a finger. The owners obviously blessed the Rush role, and then allowed themselves to be pushed around by the black Obama ally and D.C. mega-lobbyist who runs the NFL Players Association, as well as Sharpton & Jackson, LLP. This will cost them BIGTIME when at the negotiations next year, and far beyond. The NFL is going the way of Wall St. and GM.
Just emailed the commissioner and let him know what a hypocrite he was to not allow Rush to be a partial owner but allow that screwball Olberman to be a part of the NFL game. Also suggested there will be boycotts of the NFL for this.
This way the league is absolved of any public culpability for dissing Rush. The woman I spoke with was unaware that this is the second time Rush has been unsuccessful in buying an NFL franchise!
There are definately two America's now! I pray that America wakes up to the reverse racism that our enemies practice.
