It’s going to snow tonight in parts of eastern PA.

October 14th!

In this undated image obatined from www.catlinarcticsurvey.com, British explorers Pen Hadow (R) and Ann Daniels cross a refrozen lead in the North Pole. The Arctic ice cap will disappear completely in summer months within 20 to 30 years, a polar research team said as they presented findings from an expedition led by adventurer Pen Hadow. It looks like the great Northwest passage has finally been discovered. If only the great explorers were alive today, they would be hailed as prophets of global warming and enshrined in the leftist hall of fame.

An old story, that is disproved by this rapid freezing of the arctic ice cap this summer, earlier than in past years.

It’s always 30 years away. Just long enough to be unprovable.

does this mean that we will finally find the hole in the ice caps that lead to the hollow earth?

Has the alleged ice melting been tracked with overall global temperature changes? Can a spell of warming that ended a decade ago take a while to show up in the Arctic ice, like an echo? Might the polar bears in the meantime find themselves comfortable on more southerly land areas that freeze well? (They are basically white versions of brown bears.) Being able to freely navigate the Arctic for a while might have its advantages for people in the meantime.

The Arctic ice cap has been growing since the low of 2007:

And the Antarctica hit a new high this year.

Better and more accurate story.

Went to the pole. Froze my ass off. Looks the same. Can't report that, lose funding. Make prediction for year 2039. Note to myself, next expedition to Hawaii to find out why macadamia nuts cost so much
