Chairman Max Baucus, Democrat of Montana, had been courting her vote for months, investing long hours in closed-door negotiations with her and the other members of the Gang of Six. In the late summer and early fall, President Obama spoke with her on the phone and invited her to the White House to address her concerns.

She anguished over it, tormented soul -- teetered, this way and that, to and fro, 'til at last, in a mighty effort, she gathered herself together, jumped up and voted, her voice loud and clear: 'aye-aye,' hell yes for treason!

She chose poorly.

Not buying it. Snowe digs the role she’s been playing.
Just another publicity hound who cant get enough of her name in the headlines.

Right. The egocentric old bag knew all along. Hey , lobster museums in Maine don't come cheap. The only cure for this crap is to take away the lifetime job from these freaks. Hollywood for the ugly second raters.

Snowe made it clear that her aye vote yesterday did not mean she would support the final version of the bill. But she did guarantee she would have an even more influential voice in the weeks ahead, as Democrats continue to sculpt the final proposal.

I choose to ignore her. She wants her 15 minutes of press preening and everyone focused on her. I’m not playing the game.
She’s a Liberal. She’s always been a enemy not an ally. Nothing changed here. That’s the problem for the Republicans and Deamocrat’s. Nothing changed. People will go on hating both parties and wanting to throw them all out.
To: LibWhacker
Yeah. Like anyone in America will believe she was actually going to vote no. Cut the crap, Oly. You are a socialist lurking in the junkyard of the GOP.

I wasn't shocked. She's a lib.
I'm a lot more shocked when Republicans actually FIGHT for Conservative principles anymore.
