These women may rescue flagging Republican Party (Gnarly chunk vomit)

WASHINGTON — As the Republican Party continues its pilgrimage through the desert, its leaders may be missing the oasis for the vale of tears.

The answer to the party's woes isn't a revamped Web site (GOP.com) offering — wowser! — really cool social networking platforms.

The answer won't be found in the sudden realization that 83 percent of young people 18 to 24 have an online profile — or other late-breaking revelations that merely reinforce the perception of the GOP as woefully behind the curve.

The answer is … drum roll, please … women.

If the GOP is really serious about expanding the party, it's time for the men to hush and let the pros take over. As the saying goes: If you need something done, hire a busy woman. Or, as the White House Project puts it:

“Add women, change everything.”

In the past few months, several conservative women have emerged as candidates and critics to challenge the notion that the GOP is the party of men. They're also putting to rest any thought that Sarah Palin is the female face of the party.

The McCain campaign had the right idea; it just picked the wrong woman.

And the socially liberal McCain, though she may not please the party elders, appeals to younger voters who otherwise wouldn't consider lifting the flap on the old man's tent.

UUUUmmmmmmm, Earth to Kathy: it ain't her old man's tent anymore. Not since November 5, 2008. It will never be his tent again. And there is no place in the conservative tent for an air-head who struggles to understand the pressing political issues of the day by reading "People" magazine.

Palin, Bacchman and Cheney. Then we will talk about others.

"The GOP continues to make the same mistake over and over again."

Funny, that.
Either they're pitifully stupid, or, they think we are in which case does that tack sound familiar? LOL

"What the hell is wrong with the GOP that they are so damn terrified of speaking out against Obama that they go along with his crap."

They [read: Rs] are after all, just politicians composed of an overwhelming number of shysters. One of the easier seen distinctions shared between the two parties, FWIW. Extrapolating the shyster part connects the dots all by themselves.
In any event one elevating these clowns beyond rational human expectation(s) does so at their own risk.

More to your question, could it be the Right's political representatives are merely allowing zerO to do the heavy lifting & catch the ensuing flack? Remember, they're all "politicians" with all that implies.

Casual observation --over several decades-- the only reason I ask the questions. Because if one relies solely on what one sees, or doesn't see?
The only possibly conclusion ain't very pretty, a'tall; while, there for all to see, nonetheless.

If every RINO was given the Dede Scozzafava (sic) treatment, we could have a real conservative GOP very quickly.

The Maine GOP needs to find a conservative replacement for Olympia Snowe ASAP.

"If every RINO was given the Dede Scozzafava (sic) treatment, we could have a real conservative GOP very quickly."

Uh-huh, but in complete honesty?
I wonder if there're any people left even capable of understanding WTH it means to *be* conservative, anymore. Present company excluded, of course. LOL

"The Maine GOP needs to find a conservative replacement for Olympia Snowe ASAP."

Great place to start; but, the task would only begin with Maine's skunk. Plenty of others as one goes west, hell's bells it'd be a lifetime endeavor cleansing the body politic of these ticks. ;^)

Guess these sots are like bad weather in that they'll always be with us. LOL

This woman is harder on Sarah Palin than David Letterman. Kathleen Parker must buy Monistat by the case at Sam's Club for that itch.

Just because you buy ink by the barrel doesn't make you worthy of being read any more than sitting behind the wheel of a Super-car makes me a super driver. Would you not agree, Landru?

I'd change my FReeper name to'Curbhopper', but I'm too fond of the born-on date.

Its time to start infiltrating the RNC.

The 168 members will meet in January 2011 to name the new head and we have to be there personally to put their feet to the fire and make sure a conservative who isn't afraid to call a commie a commie and is willing to fight these red sons of bitches anywhere anytime gets elected.
