Lindsey Graham: I Won’t Let Ron Paul Hijack the GOP [YouTube Funs!]
American Conservative Magazine ^ | October 13th, 2009 | Jack Hunter

This isn’t the best audio but more evidence of South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham’s complete dismissal of Ron Paul’s adherence to rigid constitutional government. Notice in the first video that instead of addressing the woman’s criticism head on, Graham simply asks her who she voted for in the presidential election. When she replied “Chuck Baldwin” Graham then attempts to marginalize her based on her support for the Constitution Party, slamming Paul in the process.

The following took place 10/12/09 at a town hall meeting in Greenville, SC:

"The GOP is infested w/ internationalist Neocons who wish to drive constitutional conservatives out of the public square."

Absolutely! - And these are the ones that are attacking Ron Paul here. - They are essentially no different from the liberal Democrats as far as their effect on this nation.

It also has to do with Ron Paul being a certifiable lunatic on foreign policy and all purpose surrender monkey.

Further, when he is not actively propagandizing in favor of Al Qaeda, Paul makes a practice of posing for holy pictures as a fiscal conservative while stuffing appropriations bills with pork for his district while voting against the appropriations bills knowing his colleagues will enact his pork along with their own. Then he whines about the wild-spending Congress and how naughty they are for enacting unconstitutional pork (like his very own). Shrimpin' subsidies? Nursing scholarships for his constituents only? You call this honesty??? It is no more honesty than Graham claiming to be straight.

Thank goodness Sarah Palin is NOT a PaulBot.
Palin understands we must fight and beat the enemy who
declared war on America, the IslamOfascists.

As Sarah Palin Wrote:

We Must Win in Afghanistan

Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 2:57pm

For two years as a candidate, Senator Obama called for more resources for the war in Afghanistan and warned about the consequences of failure. As President, he announced a comprehensive new counterinsurgency strategy and handpicked the right general to execute it.

Now General McChrystal is asking for additional troops to implement the strategy announced by President Obama in March. Hundreds of thousands of Americans have sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, sisters and brothers in harm’s way in Afghanistan right now. We owe it to all those brave Americans serving in uniform to give them the tools they need to complete their mission.

We can win in Afghanistan by helping the Afghans build a stable representative state able to defend itself. And we must do what it takes to prevail. The stakes are very high. The 9/11 attacks were planned in Afghanistan, and if we are not successful there, al Qaeda will once again find a safe haven, the Taliban will impose its cruelty on the Afghan people, and Pakistan will be less stable.

Our allies and our adversaries are watching to see if we have the staying power to protect our interests in Afghanistan. I recently joined a group of Americans in urging President Obama to devote the resources necessary in Afghanistan and pledged to support him if he made the right decision.

Now is not the time for cold feet, second thoughts, or indecision — it is the time to act as commander-in-chief and approve the troops so clearly needed in Afghanistan.

- Sarah Palin

>The GOP is full of big government moralists and the big government imperialists. And they have managed to run many traditional libertarian and constitutionalist conservatives out of tent.

What percentage of battered spouses who stay with an abusive partner ever succeed in changing them?

Conservatives and traditionalists believe in the Constitution. We support a strong and robust military that can protect and defend the American people at home and US interests abroad.

Ronpaul is a libertarian, not a conservative. He wants to see the US retreat from the world, bring all the troops home and somehow ignore all our enemies. That is not only dangerous and naive, its dumb!

Stick to supporting Palin and Bachman. Ronpaul is a dead ender!

"... this has become a conflict between Washington...and the rest of us.

Exactly. That is the problem in a nut shell. See my tag line. None of them are worth the powder to blow them to hell.

We need a generation or two of one-term elected officials to flush the professional parasites out of the Government Industry and then we can perhaps start clean.

Professional Politicians are not what the Founders envisioned.

Somehow, I don’t see Sarah Palin or Michelle Bachmann sucking up to Al Qaeda like the Galveston treasonweasel. Do you? Got any evidence? Show it.

“Jim “Waterloo” DeMint is awesome and will make a superb Chief of Staff for Pres. Palin”....

Yeah, I got the same kind of condescending comments about Duncan Hunter. Lack of support for the true conservative in favor of the ‘electable candidate’ is exactly how we got candidate RHINO McCain. That’s not to say I wouldn’t support a ticket with Palin on it. I like her. I’m just waiting for her to wise up on amnesty.

At least some of the liberals support auditing the Federal Reserve (Kucinich, Sanders, and Grayson to name a few).

The pro-bankster state corporatism RINOs ruin the GOP’s reputation among voters, herding them into the arms of Democrat Marxists. These backstabbers hurt us more than the Dems, who are (blessedly) a known enemy not capable of Specter-and-Gramnesty style backstabbing.

I think the two sides are in cohoots to ratchet away our freedoms and accrue more control over the citizens of America.

“With Bush and the GOP Congress directly to blame for abandoning conservatism.”

You are correct here.

“He undercuts his own credibility on “smaller government” with his military pacifism and political isolationism as they relate to America’s best interests in foreign affairs.”

Perhaps he just doesn’t believe in nation building and charity with the public purse.
