Delta flight from Seattle to Atlanta diverted to Nashville so a passenger could be arrested for quoting the Bible.
178 passengers were on the Boeing plane.
What about if someone was quoting from the Torah, or the Koran?
of course, his other threatening behavior is not mentioned. The most shocking thing he did was to quote Bible verses. Quoting the Bible, and only quoting the Bible, is enough to divert a plane and get someone arrested, right???????
Or Obama?
Was it the Old Testament or the new?
I guess I would want to know chapter and verse.
That was about the least informative article I’ve ever read. OK, so it said he became unruly...how? Are they saying quoting the Bible is unruly? Or was he quoting something that sounded threatening? Did he punch people sitting next to him and then start quoting the Bible? Who knows...clearly not the writer of the article.
What if we all bought tickets and started saying the verses at the same time? Could you imagine the press it would get if they arrested everyone? LOL
“Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy....Hey wait a minute, what are you doing? Why are you guys grabbing me? Why are you jumping on me? I didn’t do anything.”

Wrong. He was unruly and kept touching women.
I suspect it might also have had something to do with volume and assorted gesticulations and facial expressions.
Marchuk, 22, of Canton, Ga., was turned over to Metro Nashville police. According to a police arrest warrant, "The suspect would not allow the person sitting next to him to leave her seat to use the restroom. The suspect kept telling her that his blood would be on her and he was not going to let her leave no matter what happened.
Ah, now we’re getting somewhere.
Exactly saying Bible verses out loud is not becoming unruly. It sure would be nice to know what he did to prompt other passengers to subdue him.
If all he did was say Bible verses aloud, he is going to be a very very rich man.
According to a police arrest warrant, “The suspect would not allow the person sitting next to him to leave her seat to use the restroom. The suspect kept telling her that his blood would be on her and he was not going to let her leave no matter what happened. Several passengers restrained the suspect and the suspect attempted to bite one of the passengers in the leg.”

“His blood would be on her”? Maybe “her blood would be on him,” that is, he would be held accountable for her fate if she didn’t sit still for the full treatment.

“I was kind of waking up out of a sleep and noticed that two-three rows in front of me the flight attendant was leaning over talking to a gentleman with a stern voice saying, ‘Sir, you really need to let this woman out, she needs to go to the bathroom,’ “ said Vanessa Maanao. “But he would not. He kept pushing his body on the woman who was sitting by the window — he was in the middle seat.”

“The man refused to let her go and other passengers had to come and intervene,” she continued. “It took two to three gentlemen to hold him from behind so the woman who was pinned in could climb over the seat in front of her to get out and then move to the front of the plane.”
Sounds like the guy is a real looney toon.
