Sounds like a death sentence. Don’t worry the judge would not be held accountable. “Just doing my job”.

She should / should have filed for emancipation.
To: Never on my watch
She should run away again.
I’ll hide her until she’s 18
Why isn’t her lawyer fighting for emancipation?

This is very bad. She better go into hiding somehow, because she will be killed by her family.

We all need to pray for this young girl that she can escape to a place of safety until she reaches age 18.

The girl needs to run away and hide out until she is 18. Then becomes a moot point.

You’re all jumping the gun. She will be in the custody of Franklin County (Columbus) Children’s Services.

A guardian ad litem should be appointed by a court to look after the best interest of the child. What a miscarriage of justice to doom this kid.

What can they do to her if she refuses to go to her parents house? Are they going to put her in jail? I’d bet she will be safer in jail.

Focus our wrath on this judge. He/She has given this girl a death sentence.
Does anyone have any info on this judge?

The 17-year old girl ran away from her parents' home in July, saying she feared being killed for changing religions. But a Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigation found no credible threats to Bary. Since this girl is already 17, it is double and triply stupid to send her back to Ohio, to the state or her parents. She will be able to do whatever she chooses at 18, and nothing of importance is likely to happen in a few months being forced to reside again in Ohio (unless she happens to harmed by her parents).
Pointless and dumb, a decision made by people who probably do not understand the culture she came from.
