That’ll probably happen, at the end of the day, if Snowe backs this all the way to final passage. There will be tremendous pressure to cut off relection funds from the GOP, and she’ll probably do a Specter just to cling to power.
in the end it all comes down to them. Not the people that voted for them. Not for whats morally just. Only for themselves.
Snowe is not up for re-election until 2014. Everyone can chill.
This bill will never see the Senate floor.
What will come to the floor will be much worse than Baucus. Snowe will have a chance to backpeddle then. No Republican will support a worse bill, Lieberman won’t either.
