This bill will never see the Senate floor.
What will come to the floor will be much worse than Baucus. Snowe will have a chance to backpeddle then. No Republican will support a worse bill, Lieberman won’t either.
I agree with you, for the most part. There is plenty of time for this to get really bad, and therefore killed either on the floor or in Reconcile.
