Vatican Backs Obama’s Global Agenda
AIM ^ | October 12, 2009 | Cliff Kincaid

Some pro-life Catholics are acting shocked that the Vatican warmly greeted the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to President Obama, who is pro-abortion. They don't seem to understand that the Vatican and Obama agree on most major international issues. This is the untold story-how Obama and the Vatican accept major ingredients of what has been called a New World Order.

“the Vatican” is not the same as the Pope- he is surrounded by treacherous fools

The “expected results” are evident when one considers that Pope Benedict, the leader of 1.2 billion Catholics, had endorsed a “World Political Authority,” a form of world government, in his recent encyclical “Caritas in Veritate.” This world political authority, in the Vatican view, is supposed to “manage the economy,” bring about “timely disarmament,” and ensure “food, security and peace.”

I would not say the Pope is surrounded, but there are certain areas of the Vatican staff that are more like career diplomats than Catholics and they are the “go to” bunch for quotes to attempt to allign these types of things.

All one has to do is read the Catechism to understand the Catholic Church does NOT back a one world order.

He’s not the one in charge.

New World Order.

American taxpayers fund the poor around the world.

Why wouldn’t the Church approve.

The taking of unborn lives is beyond killing, it is killing those who cannot defend themselves. Playing God that way should be condemned by anyone who truly values life. The Vatican has sold it’s soul. If they begin to diminish they will only have to look in the mirror to understand why.

As usual, accuracy(sic) in media misses the mark.

You were conspicuous in your absence on the following thread, which isn't surprising.

"Liberal and conservative Catholics alike would prefer not to discuss how the Catholic Church, here and abroad, functions like a liberal/left-wing political lobby."

When you have an article with a highlighted quote at the very beginning like the one above, save your time and energy, and read the Catechism of the Catholic Church instead. There is NO SUCH THING as a liberal Catholic. You are an orthodox Roman Catholic or you are not Catholic at all. This article (I did read it!) is nothing but garbage!

Any Catholic who supports this healthcare reform which includes abortion, euthanasia, infanticide and suicide is heretical.

Any Catholic who supports a single world government by man is heretical.

Any Catholics or persons who believe the Pope or the Catholic Church support this healthcare which includes abortion, euthanasia, infanticide and suicide are misled.

Any Catholics or other persons who believe the Pope or the Catholic Church support the empowerment of a single world government by man are misled.

I keep hearing that liberals are NOT Catholic, but, my own personal experience is otherwise. I married into a practicing Catholic family and they voted for BamaKennedy. And they think the 'orthodox' are out of step and style of these times and that they are doing the Lord's work, working for the BamaKennedy liberal establishment. There is no way you or anyone else going to convince these practicing Catholics that liberals are not godly and goodly.

Here's the paragraph in the Catechism of the Catholic Church on abortion:

2271 Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law: You shall not kill the embryo by abortion and shall not cause the newborn to perish. God, the Lord of life, has entrusted to men the noble mission of safeguarding life, and men must carry it out in a manner worthy of themselves. Life must be protected with the utmost care from the moment of conception: abortion and infanticide are abominable crimes.

All good ideas from a RELIGIOUS point of view but of course totally impossible from a practical point of view unless all are firm believers in the same faith and are mind numbed robots without any personal ambition..

How can the vatican just pick and choose which sins to igore? They seem to reflect the our current administration that way. How is it that they will blindly follow a leader that is clearly not a religious man.

I'm not sure which sins you feel the Vatican is ignoring. You would have to expound on that. But here is a paper written by the well-known Catholic Canadian author, Michael D. O'Brien on Globalization and the New World Order. Anything authored by Mr. O'Brien is highly recommended reading if you want to know what Catholicism truly stands for.

It is also broken down and discussed here through Catholic Exchange: Link

I noticed that too.

The article has no neutrality to it at all - it's agenda-driven. What's the agenda, I wonder? Who is this Cliff Kinkaid?
