If the song had been a bit more general or innocuous I wouldn’t object so much. But to be very specific and say things like “he says we must be equal” or whatever, is blatantly partisan. Makes it sound like Republicans or 0bama’s opponents are not for equality, or like none of this was possible before he was president. Utter nonsense. For that reason alone this brainwashing needs to be protested.

I realize these school officials have been submerged in the liberal ideology so long that the song seems innocuous to them. The line "equal work means equal pay" just sounds right to their ears. But some of the kids hearing this have to be asking themselves and their teachers, "if that's true, shouldn't equal work mean equal grades?"

I'm sure some of the teachers might even agree with that too. But just maybe, they would start to use their brains to think why it's really not such a good idea to give high marks for someone who wasted a lot of time to arrive at the wrong answer.

I remember about 5th or 6th grade using the argument with the teacher — “it’s not fair — I tried SO hard and I got a B.” Best lesson in life ever was that it wasn’t the effort that was rewarded but the results.
