I follow this map every year, it usually doesn't even start up until Novemeber, they started it early this year, and it's worse than I've ever seen it, the peak is usually Jan/Feb for flu ...
See map HERE
Is this any different than any other fall once school has started and kids start sharing their colds and flus and bringing them home to share with their families?
I am with you dude, even as I have my barf bucket handy... I got it very early this AM.
Bleck.
Still not getting the shot.
Nope, Jan/Feb is peak flu season ...
Um... how'd it go in the Southern Hemisphere over this winter from June-September? Millions of dead? Hmmm?
The WHO reports less than 4,000 dead this year, total, from h1n1, including all those backward countries.
It's a crock.
I had a student who was at a summer camp back east. Swine Flu swept through, he got it, camp was closed/ quarantined. And ... so what? Nothing. He is now home, was not hospitalized or anything, lived to tell.
I tell you — the libs are trying to make it a ‘Sky is Falling’ moment. DO NOT BE USED.
So far, the only people I know who have been diagnosed with H1N1 were two step-children of a cousin, but that was back in the spring. They recovered well.
First off my name is not Pal. It all depends if you believe the government now doesn’t it?
I dont believe anything coming out of Washington Period. The flu happens.
If you want to buy into this fine. Good luck. Count me out.
CDC, NIH, NASA, Fannie & Freddie, FEMA, TSA,HSA plus other agencies are all make work projects filled with illiterates. NASA was ruined decades ago. I know people who do uni work with CDC and NIH. Total joke. NIH has a few good researchers but mega wastes of taxpayer money.
The flu happens every damn year. They are over blowing this big time"
We just had a local flare-up here on Friday. A 14 year old suburban Chicago girl died from SWINE FLU All over the news-all day
Saturday I ran across this stuck in a corner of the online edition of our local paper...
""NAPERVILLE, Ill. (AP) Suburban Chicago officials say a 14-year-old girl whose death has been linked to swine flu also had an undiagnosed heart condition.
Michelle Fahle, a Naperville North High School student, died Thursday.
The DuPage County coroner's office said Saturday that she had both the virus and a serious heart condition that 'strongly contributed' to her death.
The coroner's office says Fahle had a progressive defect in her heart that made her health vulnerable before she contracted the H1N1 virus.
Officials say more testing is necessary before a final cause of death is issued.
Fahle's death would bring the state's total swine flu deaths to 20. Since April, three swine flu deaths in the state have been in children younger than 19.""
There's defintely an agenda being worked on with this Pig Flu Pandemic .
We’re doomed?
Wash your hands. Avoid crowds. Avoid public places such as shopping malls unless absolutely necessary. Avoid public transportation. Use those sanitizing wipes at the grocery store. Wash your hands.
You might want to clarify that this map does not necessarily mean the flu being reported is H1N1.
They are trying to create a major crisis with the help of the media. Gee, I wonder why?
I too have heard that it is weakening. I have heard the Obama girls are getting the vaccine, then hear they are not. No matter, anything that this administration tells me to do, I will have serious reservations. Usually, the children, teens and young adults have the better immune systems to fight off infections, and it is the older people who have the weakened immune systems. Also, knowing that Obama picks the likes of Holdren as science czar and others makes me very skeptical about everything that comes out of the white house.
I still have not met anyone who has had anything but a slight flu. Where is the devastating flu?
Never let a crisis go to waste...
Did you ever consider that the DATA BEHIND THE MAP THIS YEAR IS BOGUS?!

Plus this year we’ve had RECORD EARLY COLD TEMPS. HELLO!
