The engines produced in China for GM as used in the Trailblazer and other light trucks are machined to much better tolerances than the UAW produced motors. Chinese produced cars lag behind now but will catch up quickly.

Good one, that is as believable as the black guy on TV saying Saturn makes cars. LOL

Most commercial hard drives are made in China now, and they’re more than acceptably reliable - which means that they are quite precisely made.

If you can make hard drives in mass quantity with that level of quality, cars aren’t a huge challenge.
