WASHINGTON Gee, you'd think a U.S. president who won the Nobel Peace Prize might get rave reviews from his party's activists and polite congrats from top Republicans.
But news of Barack Obama's award Friday drew a rebuke from the Republican Party chairman, ridicule from conservative bloggers, and even gripes from some liberals who think he hasn't done enough to wind down the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

If anyone had any doubts about "Global Warming" being a complete and total load of crap, Al Gore's statement should dispel them. What a phony.
Underlying statement: "The Nobel Committee isn't racist, unlike the International Olympic Committee."
Here at my job it is "drawing" hysterical laughter.
Oh boy - the Clinton’s must be LIVID...

What’s he going to do with the $1.4 million in prize money? I heard that a reporter shouted that question to him as he turned his back to walk into the Oval Office. Also, it appears that Robert Gibbs never addressed the issue during his daily press briefing. It’s a political no brainer that he won’t keep the money, I just wonder why the delay in saying what will happen with the cash.
“Captain Tomorrow.” absolutely brilliant, cheers!
The vote was taken after only 11 days in office.

Many of the callers agreed with him.
How much more embarrassment will my country have to experience from this AA POS!
Americans in Harlem, NY greeted President Barack Obama's surprise winning of the Nobel Peace Prize Friday with joy and derision. The stunning decision left Americans of all stripes arguing whether Obama had done enough, nine months into his presidency, to stand alongside Nelson Mandela and other Nobel heroes. (AFPTV)
I just had to let the organization know what a joke I thought the prize is: comment@peaceprize.org

Every sentient being in the universe is laughing his ass off this morning.
