Three years ago and she’s just getting around to suing. Yeah she was really damaged!

I was a breastfeeding mom and felt strongly about it. I would give my child a bottle anywhere so I should be able to breastfeed anywhere.

That said, I would never just whip it out—a blanket or specially designed clothing worked fine. Modesty for me, respect for those around me.

“That said, . . .Modesty for me, respect for those around me.”

Your grace and consideration is truly rare and deeply appreciated.

Amen. I agree respect for yourself and the people around you is very important. However, still breast feeding at 2yrs is a bit over the edge. I was in the dentist office waiting room about a year ago when in pops this women with a boy of about 2 or 3 (walking and talking). She sits down and proceeds to whip out her breast and starts to breast feed the kid standing in front of her. WOW.

Well - here’s the key sentence in the article as far as I’m concerned....

“Gillette told USA Today that she wasn’t exposing herself. She purposely sat in a window seat and she was holding down her shirt while nursing”

If she’s telling the truth - that she wasn’t exposed, then you’ve got a flight attendant who was out of line.

If she isn’t telling the truth - and she just “whipped it out” Then she needs to just get over it already.
