That's just what you need to get re-elected, right? More taxes, and this time that includes a heafty excise tax on diabetic sugar meters, and tabs, and insulin injection systems.
It's an even more massive tax on heart pacemakers, catheters, colestomy bags (and undoubtedly the HIGHEST POSSIBLE TAX on the special high-tech adhesives that make that system work).
One does wonder what goes on in the minds of politicians who envision bringing America to fiscal soundness by taxing dental floss and surgical sutures.

You are most certainly right about this. And you are right about there just being a "story" about them caving in.
My mind is open on this. I'm just so used to hearing pubbies criticizing everything conservative from Palin to the Tea Parties and it is at least credible that they may give in to the pressure.
