Ayers admits writing Dreams
The American Thinker ^ | October 07, 2009 | James Simpson

Posted on 10/07/2009 2:20:31 AM PDT by Scanian

Last Friday we posted an article on these pages asserting Bill Ayers' authorship of President Barack Obama's 'Dreams From My Father,' based on claims made by Obama biographer Christopher Andersen. It is possible that we have now gotten direct confirmation of this from Bill Ayers himself.

Anne Leary of Back Yard Conservative was passing through Washington, DC's Reagan National Airport yesterday, and was surprised to come across Bill Ayers at Starbucks: "scruffy, thinning beard, dippy earring, and the wire rims, heading to order."

I knew last week that Ayers wrote Hussein’s book. Now that he admits it, I’m not so sure.

Ayers is emotional, self-centered slimebucket. Maybe he's disillusioned with how his contribution to Obama's election now gets him the cold shoulder from the White House. Maybe Bill's seething that Obama hasn't launched the revolution that Bill always envisioned.

Don't underestimate the destructive impulses of an angry egotist. In this case, let's cheer it on.

Interesting is him saying Michelle wanted it written.

Hmm, miffed at not getting royalties is leaning a bit toward capitalism.

That my my thought, exactly. Ayers isn’t happy with BHO for whatever reason. Maybe he hasn’t had quite the influence he expected in the administration. Maybe he feels BHO is ignoring him. Who knows.

Seems odd that “just some guy who happens to live in my neighborhood” would get to write the story of his fathers dreams.

What a cool article. To quote Gertrude Stein: interesting if true.

Hitler or Stalin would have had Ayres killed. So would Saddam or Khadaffy. That's what it takes to set up a dictatorship for real.

Obammy hasn't done it yet, and it's probably too late for him to do so.

The theories posted about why Ayres would have said this are plausible. If they are true, it spells bad mojo for Obammy and his lovely wife.

I am very skeptical.

These people know how to bait the conservatives....we have seen Obama do this on other stories.

If I was Anne, I would have used my camera phone to video Bill Ayers saying this. Why didn’t she do that?!

Sorry, something stinks in Denmark.

It certainly does. I'm sending this story around to everyone I know and asking them to do the same. This needs to go viral so zero can be exposed for the liar and weather underground supporter he is.

You are right, he is messing with people.

I agree. I had the impression Ayers was merely messing around with the nice conservative.

It’s possible that he was playing with Leary, the blogger.

I believe the Andersen book mentions that Mo the Wookie wanted Zippy to ask Ayers for help with “Dreams.” Ayers might have been referencing that as a mind (bleep).

He might have been doing that by telling the exact truth, knowing he could later deny it or simply call it a joke.

Sounds like Anne was pretty skeptical herself since she claims to have called Ayers a liar.

Hussein and Ayers are both liars which means it is mighty hard to prove Leary’s story one way or the other.
