More information is pouring in about the heroes of Fox News contributor Marc Lamont Hill, who has been in a public battle with David Horowitz of late. One of the key issues Horowitz has taken with Hill centers around people that Hill sees as heroes worth defending.
Two years ago Hill defended controversial professor Ward Churchill on The O'Reilly Factor. Churchill was fired from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2007. The issue that eventually led to his firing was an essay he wrote just after 9-11 called, On the Justice of Roosting Chickens. That essay made the case that the victims in the World Trade Center brought that attack on themselves for being "little Eichmanns". He is referring to Adolf Eichmann, who is known as "the architect of the Holocaust," because he was the chief facilitator of getting Jews to concentration camps during World War II. Churchill's essay made the case that, like Eichmann, someone who did mass murder because he followed orders, those who traded stocks at the World Trade center were the obedient culprits behind the deaths of people throughout the world. The controversy from this essay led to an investigation which revealed Churchill had committed plagiarism and was not qualified to teach in his specialty.
Does Churchill's argument make sense? Of course not. It's crazy talk. Yet Hill went on television two years ago and defended this guy - and in fact, agreed with Churchill's assesment.

Ugh. He makes me sick.
For whatever O’Reilly likes having this guy on the show. He serves pretty much as a useful idiot with his high speed gibberish.
Really,
Nobody.
I usually can’t stand him either, at least on O’Reilly, but I’ve seen him on RedEye and a few other talk shows, and I kind of like him. I mean, I still don’t agree with anything he says, but he seemed a little less strident and more reasonable away from O’Reilly.
All these leftist academics are morons trying to convince people that they really know something.
