My parents are in their 70’s and thus on Medicare. But they also have Secure Horizens because MEDICARE SUCKS!

Dick Morris says it has to be THIS WEEK! I have really appreciated that Dick Morris, of all people, is the one working for the folks. Without his leadership, I don’t think we would be even in the ballpark.
He named a couple of people to contact - Lincoln Chaffee, Olympia Snowe and a few others.
I think Diane Feinstein might be open to persuasion also.
Moreover, the dems have a strategy for minimizing any political damage from passing this bill. As a matter of fact, I believe Der Schlickster already signaled their strategy in a speech when he proclaimed that the President's popularity would skyrocket once the bill was passed and the people saw that none of what the critics of the bill had been saying was true. Of course, Slick Willy left out the fact that the relevant provisions of this bill have an effective date of 2013.
Watch, by this time next year they will be playing clips of Republicans criticizing the ONE’s bill followed up by a “see, the Republicans were lying to you, nothing has changed with your health care.” Of course, the Republicans will be a day late and a dollar short in responding that it is because the bill does take over until 2013, but the Partisan Media will bury this fact and just play over and over how the Republicans were wrong.
I hope that the Republicans are smart enough to get ahead of this and make an issue NOW of the effective date of the provisions of this bill.
I agree in principle with everything you said. BUT.... as anyone can see, I am not in the habit of posting on Free Republic (I have been a member for years and have just begun to figure out how to post - I see I did this one quite incorrectly).... This has caused me to get really active where normally I am not.
Also, I think the man in this video is not in the habit of being politically active.
We can’t be the only ones in America to wake up.
I still think Feinstein could be moved and everyone should be calling, writing, talking to others and PAYING ATTENTION.

Remind people you know to do it. This WILL affect baby boomers. You are NEXT. Your retirement, benefits etc will be given to illegal aliens.
Google the senators & reps names. Go to Contact on their web site. Write down ALL the numbers - voice and fax. DC and in-state.
use www.faxzero.com or www.gotfreefax.com. These are FREE fax services where you can send 2 free faxes a day from both services. Type up a quick note, savve it to notepad or word.
Copy and paste then fax. Rotate to in-state and DC offices. Call and fax every day.
Seniors *AND* Baby Boomers will get screwed by this BIG time.
Lincoln Chaffee is no longer in the Senate.
So it will be up to the states to declare sovereignty and opt out.
Well, I REALLY got that wrong. I don’t remember who he said to contact. I contacted our senators (like it matters). I am doing my best to get anyone who will listen to call, write, e-mail, fax, whatever to their own senators.
