“Patriot Act” is one of those terms that the media have trained much of the public to hate automatically in a Pavlovian way.

Look on the bright side: terrorists are targeting big blue areas like New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
Are the Rats that completely void of any sense that they will own the next attack (God forbid, even if it is targeted at a ‘blue’ area) hook, line and sinker? Whatever areas are left standing will vote any surviving Rats out; they will be erased as a political party/entity forever.
Unless an attack is part of the plan to not hold elections in 2010 or 2012?!
The capture, arrest and indictment of 24-year-old Afghan immigrant Najubullah Zazi before he could set off bombs made from store-bought chemicals prevented a tragedy of potentially devastating proportions. It wouldn't have happened if the critics of Patriot Act had their way. The capture of Zazi was made possible by the "roving wiretaps" and other methods authorized under the Patriot Act signed into law by President George W. Bush.
Ooops. Sorry. I meant, "innocent until detonated guilty."
