EVERY encumbent needs to be thrown out in the next 3 election cycles. Democrat AND Republican.

Time to clean house of the corrupt and morally bankrupt.

Why did J.D. lose his congressional seat in Az, anyway?

Wonder what Rove thinks of this, after he teamed up with McCain and Bush to throw Hayworth out of office?

This is great news, and I hope he’s serious. If so, McCain should consider retiring and handing over the reins to a Republican. Then he can graze the grasslands, content in the knowledge that he at least gave Sarah to the world. Best thing he ever did. Now, go graze Johnny, go on. . .

I’ve always said that J.D. would take McCain’s seat when McCain retired. I think it’s time. J.D. Hayworth is no RINO. He’ll drive the ‘RATS in the Senate mad just as he did the ‘RATS in the House! It took a massive amount of voter fraud to bounce him out of the House and replace him with the worst Representative currently in the house. GO J.D.!!!!

Great news - I would definitely contribute to JD.

One question - is the AZ primary open or closed? If it is open, unfortunately the old geezer is likely untouchable.

Sorry, rabscuttle385, know your hatred of John McCain may be well-founded (in your mind) but J.D. is gonna lose...he couldn’t even get re-elected as a congressman.

Didn't you vote for Jim Webb (D), or am I wrong?

I was so sad to see J.D. leave the House all those years ago, he was a great voice for true conservatism. Do it J.D., get rid of McLame.

Didn’t Hayworth lose re-election a couple years ago? Or did he just not run again?

I'm calling BS on this "unidentified source". Hayworth was a vocal SUPPORTER of McCain in the primary when McCain ran for President and defended him against critics. Even if he was somehow persuaded to run "against" him for the Senate, the race would resemble when Fred Thompson ran against his "good friend" John McCain for President.

I’m curious as to how you are going to convince people who have been sending scum like Maxine Waters and Barney Frank back to the House so often to vote them out? ... So replacing all Republicans a few blue dog democrats is your goal?... You cannot extricate the scum like Frank and Waters and Leahy and Dorgan, so what do you think a campaign to ‘throw them all out’ will accomplish?

Wellllllll, this explains hearing *&* seeing that SOB's mug nearly everywhere over the past 72 hours or so.

Bet the same sleaze shop handling GE's awful public image is handling ol' Queeg's makeover, also.
The same exact MO, same exact stench.

You're wrong! Although I was orginally backing Ronald Reagan's Secretary of the Navy against George "Macaca" Allen, I wrote in the name of the libertarian candidate when Hillary Clinton came into the wray and backed Webb.

The “girls gone wild” party crowd at ASU ganged up on him. They replaced him with Harry Mitchell who is currently designated as the worst representative in the House.
