So. I have no problem with admitting that in some views, I take what would be called a leftist or liberal perspective.
My faith is ultimately with God, as everything that happens, is His doing. I believe that one of the reasons He gave us governments, is so that large number of persons can be taken care of.
That's your belief, but can you back it up?
If it is the will of God that governments and not the church or His people are the entity to be in charge of taking care of large numbers of people in need, there's surely some scripturally revealed indication of that that you can refer me to.
