The General will show the utmost respect for the C-I_C, even this one. The General may end up getting fired but he will definitely NOT resign. Just MHO.

That's typical passive/aggressive behavior. The eyes go down before the decision to finish off your opponent. It will never be a toe to toe, face to face fight. The knock out blow will be delivered by an aide or another general, but not by the One. That's a telegraphed punch, Ma'am.
