The only question I have now is who will be taking his place as the Narcissist in Chief is not going to be happy with MacCrystal making him look bad. This is absolutely the worse thing that could happen to the men in the field as they will in effect be in the same situation as those soldiers in Somalia with Clinton dithering about and not wanting to do the right thing.
When this overseas contingency operation is over I cannot wait for the NBC mini series: The Days of October 2009 where der Leader is made to look great at the expense of those who had to put their lives of the line. His dismissal of MacCrystal will be portrayed as an act of asserting constitutional civilian authority over what had become a renegade general saving the day for America.
Then shouldn’t a reprimand like this also go back down the chain of command?
