Hollywood churns out another anti-Christian movie and no one pays money to see it. You’d think that they’d learn by now.

Include me out of watching this. I have liked all the principles actors’ work, but all are now on my black list, especially the Brit. Who does he think he is, BTW.

I saw it yesterday. It’s a little more complicated and can be interpreted in a number of contrary ways. There’s a materialist/darwinist theme that is attached to the status quo which is ultimately ‘redeemed’ by the Moses/Christ figure of the main character. I think Ricky Gervais got in over his head and lost control of the various messages he was attempting to interleave.

Unfortunately my husband I went to see this movie last night and it is all the author of the article suggests. It's highly insulting to Christians and to the Judeo/Christian religion. Also, it is rated PG-13 with subject matter which should not be viewed by anyone under 18 in my opinion, including an extended conversation of masturbation at the beginning of the film and one character cursing God with the F-word. On top of it all, Ricky Gervais is not funny. If I wasn't so incensed by the subject, I would have probably fallen asleep. Insulting, unfunny and boring!

Last night we watched the 1996 movie, The Long Kiss Goodnight. It turned out that the premise of the movie revolved around the CIA being responsible for the first Twin Towers attack and was planning another terrorist attack. That's what the liberals believe, so that's what they write, and those are the movies the make.
A quote from the movie:
Well, unfortunately, Mr. Hennessey, I have no idea how to fake killing 4,000 people - so we're just gonna have to do it for real. Blame it on the Muslims, naturally. Then I get my funding.

Is this the resume of Matthew Robinson, one of the writers of the anti-Christian film?

Is is true the Ricky Gervais, the other writer, is an atheist Jew? How much money is there in the anti-Christian industry? I've never found bigotry amusing though apparently, it's a big money maker.

It is funny to me that liberals are so interested in masterbation. They love to discuss it.

the worst movie I’ve seen in a long time. I like Gervais’ work, but this was beyond horrible. Even aside from the Moses bit, it was just terrible. Terrible acting. Not funny at all.

I KNOW! My husband mentioned after we saw this piece of junk that we’re only going to be able to see kid’s movies anymore.

Ha! You know, I never realized it before, but you’re right. They do love talking about it. What IS that???

Is that what it is about? I thought that movie was about Geena Davis in tight clothes blowing stuff up.

I saw the movie. The concept was good, but it didn't really end up with a solid point of view. I don't think it should be thought of as anti-Christian though.
It seems, actually, PRO-faith to me.
