The Obamas are a particularly clueless couple. Either that or they don’t care. Maybe he actually believed that he could change things by showing up, or maybe he had no idea about the Olympic Committee’s sentiment.

For people who don’t care or don’t know, they have done pretty well financially and they are sitting in the WH. Imagine, being a community organizer working with ACORN just a few years ago and then a non-remarkable state senator for a few years and then a Senator for a few years and now President. Is this a great country or what?

I think what they do know, (ie. believe), is that every criticism of them is based on race. That is a habit they learned in childhood.
So Michelle has dress designers who are auditioning for Project Runway, but who tell her that she is an iconic trendsetter. So she hopes/believes them; knows she looks silly; but refuses to believe her own eyes, because it is the oppression of white people that is keeping her from having a perfect figure and good taste.
She is First Lady of the United States, but she has an inferiority complex, that is exhibited in many ways, and based on her assumption that her skin color is a handcap.
