The more they make up the more fired up our side will get. There is a certain amount of fear in all their voices, just like Reagan. Still disturbing to see our side w/the snarky lines.

Course, Murphy has no chance of running her campaign so he has to take her down.

Pray for America and Our Troops

I am firmly convinced that Perot was a Clinton political strategy. Perot wanted Bush the elder to be defeated because Bush did not ask him to be a part of his cabinet. That played right into clintons slimy hands and it worked twice.

I don't feel the same about Ron Paul. We used to live in his district and have met him several times. I think he is a man of principal it is just that some of his ideas are wrong. he is getting too old to be much of a threat in 2012, if at all.

Agreed, when the rats blast Palin the way they do it just shows how much fear they actually have of her.

They know they relate to her far more than Obozo does and know she can destroy their majorities. Imagine what she will be doing for candidates next year as she brings that charisma and plain speaking Conservatism to the mix. They are terrified in both Parties.

Still wonder what InSain meant by their “disagreements”? Wonder which ones, like naming names in the Fannie collapse or going after bama’s corruption? That is a very interesting comment???

Pray for AMerica

Funny you should mention this. For just as I was driving home from church I noted a big convoy of some sort of ladder type cable trucks alongside the road. These guys were putting up MORE power poles, iron things next to the existing wooden ones. I don’t know whether the wooden poles were to be replaced by the metal ones or if the metal poles were put up in addition to the wooden poles. One can never have too many wires and poles alongside the road.

So I took a look down the road and suddenly I realized just how damn ugly all those poles were, big things with many arms, wires hanging everywhere, now the metal poles, alonside the highway for miles.

I even got to wondering why they don’t bury all those wires. My house has NO wires at all, neither cable, electrical phone or otherwise, hanging from it and it really looks nice. All the wires into our community are buried so I know it’s possible.

Now I read your suggestion and ...well it is a good idea but it’s never about common sense, the greater good or any other such nonsense is it?

Social Security is something like $12 Trillion in the hole. Medicare is around $19 Trillion and sinking faster as I write. So now zero and the Democrats want to establish another entitlement that is expected to put us another $9 Trillion further in debt?

Even before attempting to fix the old problems. Can no one see this makes no sense at all?

Well, the way things work, Valerie Jarrett or Barney Frank probably have controlling interests in light pole companies.

If that was announced tomorrow I wouldn't be a bit surprised.

Another thing I would like passed is for non-profits to be required to list all of their donors, just like the political parties do.

Wouldn't you like to know how much anti-drilling propaganda concerning ANWR and off-shore was funded by the Saudis? I sure would.

And I would like to know how many non-profits get money from GE, from big shot democrats like Feinstein, etc. I want to know how many industries use the non-profit agitation to put a spike in their competitors.

Alas, I don't think this would happen, either, but I sure do think it's worth brining up from time to time.

Very difficult to win against Bayh, who gets NO bad publicity.

Over and over we say it - the media is running politics in America. We first have to overcome the dominant media. This is happening but much to slowly, and now there is word that Congress/Hussein will bailout the nearly bankrupt print media. HOW DO WE OVERCOME THIS? Most Americans get their news over the 6pm alphabet channels like All Barack Channel.

Democrats convinced themselves they can tax themselves to become rich.

Politics remains a game of money and power.

That is the scary part to me. Who else has leverage over this guy?

Never lose sight of Soros and his goals for America.

I don’t know if you had an opportunity to view or read the transcript of the Obamas’ presentations

%%%%%

Plus 0 was doing his Wimbledon impersonation of swiveling between teleprompters.

How many people on this thread think that President Bush would do anything as crass and ice cold as try to sell his hometown without looking at his audience? 0 could not even speak from the heart about something so ‘important’ as to justify a trip of a POTUS and retinue across the Atlantic.

Even though the speech was about “I” and “me”, he had to READ IT. Wassup wit’ dat? He has delegated the recitation of his personal feelings and experiences to his writers.

Can't wait to read her book, hope she nailed McCain but I doubt it not her style.

Just watched the 4 senators on FNS with Brett,he has a long way to go before he gets a handle on managing interviews with Senators. They have to be cut off regularly or they will filibuster forever.

I still want the big question answered: what happens when iran ignores us until the get a nuke what then?

I can’t figure out whether they don’t know or don’t care.

____

I think what they do know, (ie. believe), is that every criticism of them is based on race. That is a habit they learned in childhood.

So Michelle has dress designers who are auditioning for Project Runway, but who tell her that she is an iconic trendsetter. So she hopes/believes them; knows she looks silly; but refuses to believe her own eyes, because it is the oppression of white people that is keeping her from having a perfect figure and good taste.

She is First Lady of the United States, but she has an inferiority complex, that is exhibited in many ways, and based on her assumption that her skin color is a handcap.

If the government wants to save some money, they could furlough the State Department protocol people, ...

*****

Maybe Hillary got rid of them, just as she did with the White House Travel Office personnel. Remember Billy Dale?

After a day on the lake, in order to prepare the halibut

They must be writing about those rare, elusive "lake" halibut.

Bit too cryptic for me today. Please explain.
<p.
Are you saying there are no solutions? That the best thing to do is do nothing? That all life is fate and the best anyone can do is hunker down and weather the storm?

Just cutting tax rates doesn't work immediately because you pay taxes on LAST year's income.

Yes, but it does give businesses, large and small, a look into the future and plan for it accordingly. Once they see that future corp tax rates are reduced they can begin a new plan and perhaps even spend in the current year for new equipment, more employees, etc. America has the 2nd highest corp tax rate on the globe.
