Jay Leno went after his former late night rival on Friday using some of his opening monologue to poke fun at David Letterman's recently disclosed sexual escapades with staffers.
As Friday's program began, Leno quipped, "If you came here tonight for sex with a talk-show host, you’ve got the wrong studio."

Boy, first, Conan hit his head, then somebody tries to extort money from Letterman. I'm so glad I'm out of late night. Oh. You know, I want to say I myself was once the victim of an extortion plot. How do you think NBC got me to do a 10:00 show? That's why I'm here. I am happy to say I have never had a sexual relationship with any of my staff members.

Jay Leno is just corny as hell. I’ve never seen such cornball jokes get such huge laughs. I can’t believe he’s so popular.

Yeah, but “corny” is a lot more fun than smarmy and vulgar, ain’t it? I’d truly enjoy seeing bad things happen to Letterman, whereas Jay, hell, you want the guy to go home to his wife, live in peace and, some day when it’s time, die of old age laughing at one his corny jokes. Letterman? You’d rather see him lose his big show, go out trying to slog his sorry ass around the two-bit comedy club circuit, bombing and die of a drug overdose in a crappy “dressing room”. With a crack whore.
Oh, I agree, the smarmy thing with Letterman ...really bad. I hope he gets what he deserves. He’s a creep for sure. And Leno’s probably a nice guy, but I really don’t like his corny jokes at all. That’s probably why I haven’t watched any of those clowns in years. That Furgeson is funny, but he’s on way too late.
If you think Jay is corny, you would have hated Hee Haw. Now that was really corny straight form the corn fields of Kornfield Kounty. Hee Haw and Sa-luuute.
I had heard a long time ago that his wife didn’t want any (she’s active in feminist causes) but I can’t find a source to back that up.
Shouldn't the feminists be all over this? Who wants to be hit on at work by the boss? I know, it's an age old thing, and lots of people are happy to be asked. At my first 'real' job, the Boss ran off with our receptionist (her baby looked just like him! ;-)) and the payroll deposit, that branch of the firm then went bankrupt shortly after.
Why do you ask? IMHO that is probably no one’s but him and his wife’s buisness. My husband abd I decided lng ago that kids and Harley’s didn’t mix very well perhaps Jay and his wife decided the same thing?
