3-The "other Mel" stayed in El Salvador that night, but the plane that carried Manuel Zelaya returned to Nicaragua.
4-From Managua he was conduced to the border, then having entered Honduras, he slept at the estate of a congressman loyal to him, of his same party whose last name is Segura.
5-At his estate, his supporters and friends celebrated his birthday.
6-In the early morning of the next day he was conducted to Tegucigalpa in the car of Gloria Oquelí, president of the Central Amercan Parliament, who is of course loyal to him.
7-They arrived to the embassy of Brazil who agreed to accept him as a guest.

Any chance that the government will go after Segura and Oquelí for aiding and abetting a criminal?

Who is closer to Honduras?
USA or Brazil?
Look at Brazil meddle in your affairs....They want to imitate Hugo Chavez and use their oil producer status to interfere in other nations

This was pre-arranged. Zelaya did not just show up and knock on the embassy door

I’m glad the US State Department didn’t have anything to do with it.

Oqueli seems to have legal immunity for now, and the congressman could be charged.

Once Honduras gets its hands on Zelaya I hope he is put on trial for treason and then shot. The world would be a safer place if similar treatment had happened to Chavez. (Chavez is now working on nuclear weapons by the way)

They didn’t mention the part about Zelaya dressing up like a transvestite prostitute, while being smuggled through a series of gay bars posing as a karaoke singer.

I think our State Department was involved in this up to its eyebrows, and that he did this with their tacit approval; I also think our State Department set this up with Brazil in advance.
