Research 2000 poll shows Christie still leading Corzine by 4 overall and 15 among Independents. I'll take that any day of the week.

Probably not enough to translate to a win for Christie. The gap has narrowed considerably in a couple of months.

WSJ says the reason for Christie's decline is not Corzine, it's because independent candidate Daggett is gaining. According to the WSJ, Christie is a RINO who will not address the high taxes in N.J. but Daggett is an aggressive tax cutter with specific proposals.

I’m thinking that 4 points is not enough in NJ. The reason: they only poll LIVE PEOPLE. The actual voting patterns are completely different.

So how does this poll stack up with, say, Rasmussen?

Christie is running an awful campaign. The Asbury Park Press has been running a front page story all week long about how New Jerseyans are fleeing the state because of taxes and the high cost of living. He’s being handed an issue on a silver platter and won’t run with it. He refuses to go on talk radio. I don’t know who is advising this guy but he’s blowing it big time.

Wasn’t Corzine down by double digits not too long ago?

Corzine is a scumbag who reflects the culture of corruption here in Sopranostan. After all these years of corrupt Dems-McGreevy Corzine James etc.. you would think people have had enough, but too many a-holes benefit from that corruption. All the people employed by the govt., Kushner industries , mob fronts benefit from corruption.
What really shocks me is the mammogram non-issue that Corzine is inventing. This after he closes so many hospitals.

One nonscientific survey I have noticed around suburban essex county is many homes with Christie signs and only one Corzine. My town is full of liberal SINGLE ISSUE pro-abortion JINO’s and this is the first election I have seen in the 15 years that I have lived here where there are more rep than dem home signs.
Has anyone else noticed this?
