I’ll not defend a liar no matter who it is. But obviously you will. When you read my other comments and say that I defend Letterman, either you didn’t read it or you are part of the lie.

I need to certainly protect my family. This is hilarious.
...my heart breaks for the guy for having his privacy violated so egregiously.
Huh?

Hey Dave, I have a funny joke. You are going to face multi-million dollar sexual harassment lawsuits. I’ll bet the farm that your “extortion” was actually an attempt at settling the cases pending against your pervert an sexual exploitation behaviors.

Who has that Simpson pointing “HA” graphic? I think it applies here.
To: nufsed
pedophile is not necessarily a legal term. It doesn’t mean he actually committed a sexual act with a minor. It is someone who has a sexual preference for kids.

We do not have evidence that Letterman is a practicing pedophile who participates in child rape. We only have evidence that he thinks it is an OK thing to do.
To: UnwashedPeasant
That man is disgusting & if he pushed his authority around I am shocked nobody had the guts to tell him to back off. I've never liked him nor thought he was funny. I think he is a moron & a perv. Letterman & Olbermann would make a good couple.

Ah its sweeps week.No sweeps doesn't happen until November. This is creeps week.

Huh. Protecting your family would have started BEFORE the affairs, by not engaging in them. Why is it always AFTER the affair that people are concerned about protecting their family or hurting them?

I guess you didn't read my 77 (re: defending Dave L.)
Your comment only proves my point. Either call the other guy a liar or talk to someone else. He had no evidence and merely resorted to more name calling. If you want to defend that, do it without me.

Yeah, hes a leftist water-carrier and a sporadically nasty crank, but even so, my heart breaks for the guy for having his privacy violated so egregiously. Why acknowledge the extortion on the show, though? Even if the news broke in the papers, a studious silence would have led at least some people to believe that the accusations against him were bogus.Allahpundit has really gone off the deep end. Not only does he (she?) feel sorry for Letterman, but wants to give him advice on how to cover it up.

Statement from Meghan Stapleton, Palin spokesperson
“The Palins have no intention of providing a ratings boost for David Letterman by appearing on his show. Plus, it would be wise to keep Willow away from David Letterman.”
