Each to their own, although you sound a bit like a drama queen here. However, I do not like, nor ever have, the mixing of politics with the Olympics. Such as when Carter called it off for our athletes back when, pimping them after years of their investing time and energy to become the best they could be in their sport; and the Carter boycott accomplished nothing in the short run nor in the long run, except for to cheat our athletes out of their one potential shining moment of glory and pride.
So you can stay on your high horse, but I’m behind our athletes, and I’m not behind ruining their chances at the Olympics for your particular political axe to grind nor anyone else’s. It hurts no one but our athletes. So enjoy your personal indignation as I continue to hope we get the Olympics here in the USA.

I have been to and thru Chicago a number of times since I live less than 6 hours away. Yes, there are some good spots, but overall it is a cesspool of crime, corruption, violence, bribery & graft. In fact the proposed site for the Olympic Village in Chicago would enable the builders to tear down the project hellholes that Valerie Jarrett was in charge. Speaking of our athletes, I love our athletes. However because of Title IX politically correct bullsH_t restrictions on colleges, our top athletes are being denied the funds & competitive levels that are necessary for them to improve & hone their skills. In the last Olympics our top athletes no longer get that competitive level because of Title IX restrictions. The Olympics themselves are a corrupt socialist venue led by global, anti-American socialists, and giving the 2016 Oympics to Chicago is nothing more than New World Order socialists rewarding now the top socialist-fascist-commie in the world, Baaruk 0bozo 0bama.
I hope & pray that the Chicago Olympic bid is miraculously denied.
