Pres. Bush is still THE President to me as well.
We are not alone in that thought.
:)
Aren’t they great to see ?? My pleasure, most assuredly .. ;)
I think probably HERE ............. ;)
Unless .. you ask them ahead of time. Nothing to lose.
Wow, thanks for the wonderful links. Sanity Island, all over again! I’m still steaming from Jean Quierry knowingly telling Karzai about the perils of elections “like 2000”, as though it was Bush’s fault. 2012 can’t come soon enough.
HA! That is exactly the pic I was thinking of! Thanks!!!
2012 cant come soon enough.

Amen !
Thanks for the article and pointing out how terribly unpopular OUR President is/was/forever will be. ;*)
WOW ... Love that last pic! Thanks for posting.
I see where Colin Powell was also one of the speakers and spoke on national security saying, “We are safer now than before 9/11”. I wonder if he is experiencing “buyers remorse” yet for supporting Obama? How he can be on the same venue as the President and hold up his head is beyond me.
That's where you got this one.....
Nice!
Every single day I was honored to be your president by bringing honor and dignity to the office, Bush said Monday afternoon, during his first foray into motivational speaking, at the day-long "Get Motivated" seminar.
Bush, who now lives in Dallas, spoke in a relaxed tone about a few lessons he'd learned in life, including sticking to your principles and living each day to its fullest.
Its so simple in life to chase popularity, but popularity is fleeting," Bush said. "Its not real."

Great set of pictures!!

"The interesting question about life is: Are our values worth fighting for?" he said. "Let me share my values with you. Every man, woman and child should be free, that's what I believe. I believe it's in our interest to help people realize the blessings of freedom for the sake of peace." He went on to laud the Constitution and praise Americans' freedom to worship whatever God they choose.
While defending his legacy and reaffirming his seemingly eternal optimism about his country's future, Bush emphasized that to succeed and remain motivated, each individual, at the end of the day, must answer to himself and his own conscience.
"It doesn't matter your political party," he said. "What matters is how you live your life and how you act. It's so simple in life to chase popularity, but popularity is not real. What is real is principles. Always follow your conscience, so when you look in the mirror you're proud of what you see."
Another article from Fort Worth: Finding Their Special Purpose With Colin Powell, Rudy Giuliani and George W. Bush
I just scanned this article to read about GWB---I was not interested in reading what CP had to say!!!
But that pitch in Yankee Stadium was so much more than fun. It was America, standing up against terrorists and saying, "You can't intimidate me. I won't be afraid."
President Bush spoke for all of us with that throw. (Only most of us couldn't pitch a strike from the mound of Yankee Stadium! :)
Awesome!!
He doesn't support the military, so he doesn't give one whit about the men and women in it.
Hey Nordie! Take a gander at GWB’s good looking brown Glen Plaid sportcoat with the thin light teal line running through it, and the matching light teal tie. SO natty!
I hope Poppy lives several more years, and well past Jan. 2013, and maybe it will be President Sarah Palin who affords the family that honor.
