RICO is the answer to ACORN’s problems. The answer and the end.

What says “I care about you” more than a brothel in your neighborhood?

ACORN will probably change their name, lay low for about a year, then launch a big marketing campaign and start over. America BEWARE!

Big surprise.

I wonder which shadow orgs behind ACORN are receiving those funds now.

Has anyone checked out and reported on how much ACORN's top executives earn? How many got or are getting bonuses, and how much they are? How many took private jets - anywhere? How many don't pay taxes? ETC. All the things that the media looked into about corporate execs. last year with the AIG and bank scandals...now should be investigated at ACORN.

I also bet there is not one of their top people who personally is making personal donations to help the poor. They just leave it to the taxpayers, and our money. Like the Obamas whose charitable contributions were practically nil considering their earnings over the past years. These people are good at making others give, but do little themselves. I would love to see the report on this.

When Brown ran for mayor of Oakland he did not have the support of ACORN. The leadership was split. He undoubtedly remembers that.

NPR wrote this (seriously) The United Way is also one of ACORN's biggest funders.

Hmmm. When charities have enough spare cash to give to other organizations...Tells me they gets no more from me!

The Senate has approved a measure that specifically targets ACORN, which the Congressional Research Service says could violate the Constitution's prohibition against bills of attainder.

Somebody at the Congressional Research Service must have learned a new word that morning.

They forgot to learn what it means, though.

Casey believes that ACORN Housing Corporation has used the grants appropriately and has done good work by effectively counseling victims and potential victims of predatory lending and refinancing practices. The Casey Foundation ceased its grant making to ACORN in early 2009.

- The Annie E. Casey Foundation

Until we are satisfied that all issues have been resolved, we are suspending current commitments to ACORN Housing and will not enter into any further agreements with ACORN or any of its affiliates.

- Bank of America

Neither [ACORN’s] American Institute for Social Justice nor any of its affiliates are current grantees of the Mott Foundation. At this time, we do not have plans for future support to these organizations.

- C.S. Mott Foundation

ACORN - They all cool by me. Hope! Change!

- Barack H. Obama
