Supporters of President Barack Obama's proposals for health care reform brought their campaign to Knoxville on Tuesday as part of a statewide listening tour.
About 20 people showed up at the downtown YWCA to learn more about the president's proposals and talk about how to encourage support for the effort.
"This is a continuation of the Obama campaign," said Justin Wilkins, Tennessee director of Organizing for America, a Democratic National Committee grassroots project. (excerpted)

LOL! The Democratic National Committee's "grassroots project" really wowed Knoxvillians! Supposedly Knoxville was the 2nd stop on the tour, however, I can't find any news reference to the meeting in Nashville. Guess the Nashvillians were just as underwhelmed as the Knoxvillians. http://my.barackobama.com/page/content/health-care-action-center/?source=www_sidebar

Knoxville is in Knox County. According to census numbers as of 2008, Knox Co. has a population of approximately 430,000. Twenty people out of 430,000, lol.

Unfortunately it really does not matter.
We ceased having the type of Represntative Government our Founders left us, years ago.
The Government will do what it wants regardless of the desires of the people. We are going to get Government controlled healthcare. Ubntl we shed the Euroepean Lite politicians that infect both major political parties we will continue down the path to the destruction of America.
