WASHINGTON -- Rep. Charles Rangel has long been the butt of jokes for late-night comics and innocent taxpayers everywhere.
Now, the Harlem Democrat is about to find himself starring in a new role -- one that could put nervous Democrats from around the country on the record about whether or not they back the powerful pol as he's being probed by the House Ethics Committee.

It’s only fair. If they get after Joe Wilson for simply uttering two truthful words, putting the Dems on record regarding Rangel’s rampant corruption is payback with interest.
It will interesting to see if this thing goes anywhere. Rangel is a powerful member of the House africanhyphenamerican caucus and Zer0 listens to them too.
They almost put the senator from Alaska in jail for less than what Rangel has been cited for. Double Standard?
You need to understand: the Democrats are the MORAL party! They support all the right things and Charlie votes the right way!
That more than makes up for a few tax oversights. s/o
Democrats think taxes should be paid by republicans only. THEY don’t have to pay or follow the rules. I laugh at anyone who tells me why we should pay taxes to “improve the lives of others”. Sure, just take all my money, why be shy, you guys never even bother to pay.
Accompany this with seeds of a Flat Tax so that the likes of a Maroon like Rangel can't screw it up and then we have something,
I will give them credit for trying to do this while he is back and they are trying to gain momentum on so many other things.
Maybe they are learning something from Glenn Beck.
This is turning Alkinsky tactics back on them.
Of course not. After all, the Republicans are the rich fat cats. Plus the fact that they take every possible opportunity to rape and pillage the environment. s/o

“Rangel dismissed the resolution as a “partisan stunt.”
Yeah, and a cool one at that.
