Michael Moore Forces MSNBC to Address Dodd's Sweetheart Countrywide Deal

Has it really come to this? Is MSNBC so in the tank for the Democratic Party that it takes far-left documentary filmmaker Michael Moore to bring up malfeasance by a leading Democrat?

Moore appeared on MSNBC's Sept. 29 "Hardball" to promote his new film "Capitalism: A Love Story." With exception of "The Ed Show" fill-in host Lawrence O'Donnell noting the Senate Ethics Committee had cleared Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., of wrongdoing and only reprimanded him verbally, over the last couple of months, MSNBC's prime time shows have ignored a deal Dodd got on a mortgage with Countrywide. That is, until Moore brought it up.

"Chris Dodd may have a problem after being in this movie, I think," Matthews said.

Michael Moore deserves a tip of the cap for this one.

Free Hot Dog for you, Mike!

Good start.

When is he going to demand that they get rid of Charlie Rangel?

“Free Hot Dog for you, Mike!”

I think he’ll want more than just one.

Look, Mikey is trying to sell his movie! He needs the sheeple to believe that he is equally hardened against both Repugs and Demonrats!

Now, anyone with half a brain knows better, but I figure those watching PMSNBC don’t have half a brain (between all 162 of the viewers)!

I could be wrong, but....no, sorry, I am NOT wrong on this one!

Moore has moments of sanity sometimes. Back when Clinton was president he was actually arguing with Bill Maher on his show about how the economy was not as good as Clinton was getting credit for. Moore was talking about the many weaknesses in the economy but Maher would have none of it as he was just totally in the tank for Clinton. I gained a little respect for Moore that day. Didn’t last long.

Micheal Moore is a pain in our side for sure. But I have watched him on a couple of interviews and I beleive he may just be terribly confused. He says things at times that just don’t make ANY sense. He whines about some of the right things indeed, but seems to blame the problems on the wrong people and institutions. For example, capitalism and frree markets may have gone astray a bit here during this last bust, BUT there would not have been an economy to bust if not for capitalism. Also all the big business schools are bastions of liberalism, not conservatism.
I wish I could just talk to him one on one over a beer and I think I could at least soften his stane. It would be great if we could win him over. His economic democracy ideas have no chance of working. Could Horowitz talk to him?

[Moore has moments of sanity sometimes.]

It must absolutely KILL him when he wakes-up back in his delusional world and realizes that they actually have him on video tape saying these things!

I can see him in his capitalist-gained multi-million dollar home, drinking Cristal at nine in the morning - violently spewing his drink on his 103” flat screen TV when he hears himself say these things!
