As most of us know, Wade Rathke was a founder of both ACORN and SEIU. This post on his own blog is from May, but given the topic and the recent reveations about the White House ties to ACORN through Patrick Gaspard, I thought that is was quite relevant. Speaking of the $85 Millinon that they pumped into the Obama campaign, Rahke boldly insists: "The dividend on $85 M better be a lot more than those two great friends of ours!" He then goes on the brag about the amount of influense this "investment" bought them when it comes to policy making. He also argued that Obama benefits greatl as well from the orgnaizing they are doing on behalf of his agenda.

SEIU under its president, Andy Stern, made a huge bet with Obama...

I bet this slug doesn't even realize that that is a major part of our distrust of Obama and Rathke and Stern's ilk: The are willing to bet on socialism even though every where else the bet has been laid on it's lost.

The idea that they would replace a known working system (capitalism) and bet our very future on socialism is exactly why these people need to go now!

People like the SEIU dont make investments without expecting a return.

SEIU and ACORN are one and the same.

Rathke is one seriously deranged individual. Like a rabid dog, he needs to be put down... a nice bright orange jumpsuit would fit his sorry ass just fine.

Your point is well taken, but we must stay aware, and make it clear that there are two Rathke brothers, so neither founded both ACORN and SEIU. Of course, it would be reasonable to assume they have been working in concert all along...
