4 Teens Charged In Boy's Brutal Beating Death Derrion Albert, 16

CHICAGO (CBS) ― Amid beefed up security, students at Fenger High School went back to class Monday, but without one of their peers. Derrion Albert wasn't there after he was violently murdered in a melee Thursday that was caught on tape.

Four Chicago teenagers charged with murder Monday afternoon for the vicious beating death of the 16-year-old Fenger High School honors student. Police said they were searching for at least three more suspects.

Silvonus Shannon, 19; Eric Carson, 16; Eugene Riley, 18; and Eugene Bailey, 18, allegedly kicked and punched Derrion, an innocent bystander in a fight between two groups of students near the South Side school Thursday afternoon, according to Cook County prosecutors. Shannon, Carson and Riley were ordered held without bail on Monday. A bond hearing for Bailey was scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.

Shhh...This could hurt Chicago’s Olympic bid, embarassing Obama and preventing Mayor Daley's roster of insider contractors from earning millions. I’d settle for the contract for the shuttle busses that will run from the downtown Loop to Washington Park, an Olympic venue a stone’s throw from the scene of the mob lynching of this innocent child. I’d charge extra for armoring the busses, advisable since, although four murderers are in custody, the other fifty or so killers involved in the incident are still out there swaggering around Obama’s beloved South Side. In 2016, most will still be out there,older, wiser, and better armed.

Young Mr. Albert went to "Bible Class on Tuesday and Church on Sunday" a grief stricken Grandfather said during a interview today. "I've had no trouble out of my Grandson what so ever"

Are you a criminal looking for a good time to commit your crime in Chicago?? Do it around 3PM on any weekday afternoon. Just about every Chicago cop is tied up babysitting the high school dismissals across the city. Yes, even the gangbangers try to get educated, but once the bell rings the turf wars start. And this poor kid took a stand against joining a gang and lost. Same area (Roseland neighborhood) as another killing in 2007:
