Yes, they were.
Gee, Andy, are you sincere? When your Hollywood pals find out what you just said, you may find yourself on Lonely Street!
Word is that he was even closer to Ethel.
Kinda looks like the reporter left out a lot of what Williams said. Having some respect for the Kennedys seems to be common among older Americans who, despite personal conservative views, also remember when the tone in D.C. was a lot less rancorous and civility sometimes managed to bridge the ideological divide.
Uh, that’s PAUL Williams. Try keep up, willya?
Saw him & Henry Mancini together.
The Dems didn’t know that a black/African-American/latte liberal, marxist community organizer like Obama wouldn’t raise a disgusting stink among the conservative population after a just a few weeks in office? THEY DAM WELL KNEW. They found the perfect “manchurian candidate” to do their bidding and push the agenda, and anyone who disagrees is automatically labeled RACIST. How frickin’ CONVENIENT. So we point at dear leader and question the obvious, protest his policies, shout YOU LIE, disagree and so on, and we’re labeled racists. Do you ever hear them address the complaint? Nope. They can’t. They know what’s going on. You’re either with them, or against them. You’re going to be either a socialist or a racist. This whole thing has been in the works FOR YEARS.
It’s getting ugly and will not end well.
Maybe he lurks?
It seems possible...
Well...he did get brain cancer...so there you go.
Andy Williams = Patriot
Stingerman:
Don't I know. Was going to post in #1 that we now have someone to counter that railroad station actor guy.
Nice to see your nest was rattled.
yitbos
I never had any inkling that Andy Williams was Republican. We knew for sure that Andy Griffith was a total partisan Democrat back in 1960.
Until such a time as we return to a mindset that government is more of a source of problems than a solution to problems, we're doomed to a procession of losers in the oval office.
My two favorite presidents of the 20th century are President Taft (he left people alone to be prosperous or failures, their choice) and President Reagan.
I never knew Andy Williams was Republican. I used to watch his show on TV when I was very young. I thought his wife of the time was creepy, but he has a wonderful voice.
Didn’t he also sing “Born Free”? (of course I can’t even think of that song without hearing bombs and guns going off in the background, thanks Rush ;^).
Good for you, Andy!
I only wish current generations had a clue when it comes to the hard-left.
You can’t even say the word communist without half of conservatives cringing like wimpering fools these days.
Nice graphic (post #13).
Yes, I bees a paperwasp! It wasn't rattled... it was buzzed!! The Waspman would rather be a paper wasp, than a paper tiger!!!
I can't seem to recall what "railroad station actor guy" you are referring to... help me envision that guy through my many faceted waspish eye, please...
Indeed, he did. It's not that bad or "wrong" of a song either. Didn't we just have a story about a woman who got mauled when she put her hand inside someone's "pet" bear cage?
