Via C4P, the draft was finished a few months early so theyre moving up the spring release date. I was going to make a joke about knowing what grassroots conservatives want to find under the tree this year, but come on. Waiting six weeks until Christmas? Some of you guys will be lined up outside the bookstore a week before it drops.
Pity poor Olbermann, forced to talk about Sarahcuda tonight instead of, say, the New York City terror plot. Again.
Harper publisher Jonathan Burnham says the former Alaska governor invested herself deeply and passionately in the project. He says the book contains fascinating detail.
The 400-page book is the first for Palin, who has been an object of fascination since Republican Sen. John McCain chose her as his running mate during his 2008 presidential bid. The book will be called Going Rogue: An American Life.

I think it’s a good title.
[best he could tell from the Harper Collins website it will be $24.99]
She’ll get maybe a 10% royalty, so at least $2.00 a book given discounts. I’m thinking at least a couple million sales by Christmas, or $4 million just from the hardcover release. Plus the audio edition plus the trade paperback. Sarah could be in the game again even without the elite Repubs.
Time to order your action figure to go with the book. A perfect Christmas gift for your loved one!
I’d take it she’s already got at least that as an advance. But it’ll feel good to have the publisher in the black sooner—and maybe make some more.
Voice recognition software may have spead up the process, just thinking out loud...
If you don't remember, google it....
rumour has it that Bill Ayers was the ghost writer....just sayin...
>> Id think she would be better off with a more positive-sounding title.
Maybe ‘rouge’?
But seriously, the definition of ‘rogue’ includes the following adjectives: dishonest, unprincipled, inferior.
‘Going Rogue’ seems a bit, eh... substandard.
How about ‘Not Owned! An American Pursuit’
- adjective
11. no longer obedient, belonging, or accepted and hence not controllable or answerable; deviating, renegade: a rogue cop; a rogue union local.
My sentiments exactly!
I have been saying since she left the Governorship and El-Rushbo may smell it too because he keeps warning against it. She is going independent IMHO, I can feel it in my gut. Just like I spotted her hear over 2 years ago, and called that it would be her as VP last May....
She won't have to answer to the blue blood country clubbers, spineless self appointed debutantes, and posers of all persuasions, she is going to do it her way, fueled by the American Spirit.
Ditto that...
It might also be the first book a buy pre-sale off amazon... ;-)
I tried to purchase the domain name www.goingrogue.com but it was already taken.
What do you want to be that it sells out before release?
Rotflmao
LOL - if there is a world record for ghost writing scrutiny by the media, this book will be run through more computers than ACORN documents through a shredder.
Yet Obama gets a pass.
Color me shocked. (Oh, was that racist? Of course - so is breathing, somehow.)
“Object of fascination” ping!
Levin never gets 'resentful' and he only attacks those that weaken our objective. - He will welcome Sarah's work. (it'll have words, not jist pichurs)
