NEW YORK — Sarah Palin has finished her memoir just four months after the book deal was announced. Her publisher says the release date has been moved up from the spring to Nov. 17.

Harper publisher Jonathan Burnham says the former Alaska governor invested herself deeply and passionately in the project. He says the book contains fascinating detail.

The 400-page book is the first for Palin, who has been an object of fascination since Republican Sen. John McCain chose her as his running mate during his 2008 presidential bid. The book will be called "Going Rogue: An American Life."

A huge first printing of 1.5 million copies has been commissioned by Harper,...

Yeah, I’m just afraid she already has too much of that reputation. Same reason I wanted policy rather than personal story. Oh well, nobody’s hiring me for political advice—and I’m glad she’s getting out there again sooner rather than later. That’s the best news to me.

400 pages is A LOT to write in such a short period of time. Well, in all respect to Obama, Bill Ayers was pretty busy during the time he helped him write his book. Being a terrorist is a hard job. I am SO excited to read this book, it’s gonna be AWESOME. Then the book tours, hopefully my dream of meeting her will finally come true

Betcha she’s been honest about her role and won’t stop short of giving her ghost writer full credit.

Maybe I’ll try Overstock.com. Bought Glenn Becks book at Borders, and those elitist pigs had the book in the back of the store where no one could see it. Of course coming in the front door, was a table loaded with the murderer Kennedy books, and in back of that table another one filled with the Obamination family.

I suspect the early release of her personal story means the "vision" book will be next, like in the spring. Just a hunch.

Oh I hope this also means she’ll be hitting the talk radio circuit to promote it.”

Whatever she does, she should NEVER appear on the dreaded, nasty, low brow “The View”. What a horrible program, hosted by some of the nastiest, poor excuses for women I ever saw.
I never could understand why people like Michelle Malkin, found it necessary to appear on The View to promote their books. You are much better off appearing on Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, and advertising your book on conservative web sites than wasting your time on The View. With close to a million supporters on Facebook, Sarah Plain shouldn't find it hard to sell her book at all. She should be able to make a nice sum from the book to cover her legal bills arising from those frivolous 0bama inspired "ethics complaints", and have plenty left over for a very nice nest egg.

Nope.
Glenn Beck is the King from this week when the NYT rankings come out.

Lynn Vincent of “World” Mag was her writer. I know Lynn, but don’t know what the advance was. I’m betting something like $1 m, but possibly less, as Palin has never had a book before.

Sure sounds like our local Barnes & Noble. Makes me want to puke every time I walk in.

n-4. A vicious and solitary animal, especially an elephant that has separated itself from its herd.
adj-3, Operating outside normal or desirable controls: “How could a single rogue trader bring down an otherwise profitable and well-regarded institution?” (Saul Hansell).

Well, n-4. Kodiak Bear. Separated from the RINO pack. nuff said

adj-3. Certainly suits her "outsider" creds. And the GOP can't seem to control her which explains their dislike of her.
