Whatever happened to that great gasoline replacement idea ethanol?

Don't hear too much about that any more.

Whatever happened to that great gasoline replacement idea ethanol?

Not only is your motor fuel still being adulterated with lower energy, hygroscopic, corrosion causing ethanol, but there is an active group of eco-morons and big agro-business ethanol producers actively lobbying to force the rest of us to use fuel adulterated with 20% ethanol. This is spite of the fact that it has been proven that it takes more input energy to produce a unit of ethanol than you get out of it. Thank you George Bush and the Republicans for selling us out to the special interests on this one.
