A few short weeks ago, Jon Klein, head of CNN stated on air to Lou Dobbs that there were no paper BCs anymore because Hawaii destroyed all the papers when they went to electronic files. Klein even had Lou tell this LIE on air. It so happens that a few days after I herad Lou repeat Klein's lie, I called the Hawaiian Vital Reords dept. about another matter concerning the forms they print CoLBs on and while talking with a pleasant lady I asked about whether one could obtain a photostatic copy of an original BC, and I mentioned that someone had said no original existed any longer. The lady was amused that someone would tell such a whopper since the state of Hawaii spends a considerable sum each year to keep original documents ina controlled environment for safekeeping.

Klein asserted what he thought would float to deflect questrions he didn't want asked and certainly didn't want Lou Dobbs addressing.

When the media elites feel so scure that they will lie so blatantly on air, America is in deep poo.

Years ago I ordered a certified copy of my long form.

It came back and what it was/is is a printout on photo-sensitive paper of a copy of my original BC from microfiche.

It had the original info about where I was born, info about my parents, the doctors signature, the hospital registrars signature. As well as initials of someone from the Dept of Vital Stats from NYS, and the State seal impressed.
So there may be no “paper” form, per se. But odds are very high that somewhere, there is an image file of sorts.

A single reel of microfiche could hold thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, of images.

A principal function of governments is record-keeping.

Governments archive everything -- unless someone is engaged in a cover-up, and illegally removes or alters something -- like Obama's top terrorism and intelligence adviser, John O. Brennan, did to Obama's passport files.
