Plumeria is the botanical name. Hawaii and South Florida freeze free areas have them. That’s what they make lei’s out of. Many colors, many different scents. They smell heavenly on a summer day but nothing beats Ylang Ylang( Cananga Odorata, I think). That’s the ingredient in many fragrances including Chanel#5. If you pick the flowers in the early morning and out them in a bucket of water, they will release their oils a few hours later. Then mop your floors with them. If you have tile, the fragrance oils seep into the grout lines and your entire house will smell like you are on a vacation in the tropics.
