Complex of America? Not with us! Poles do not have the slightest reason to feel worse than the Americans. Quite the contrary. We are sending them to the head in almost every field. In our food is healthy - strawberry tastes like strawberry and tomato like tomato.
And in the U.S.? Sam shocker! Americans wcinają Crap and the power of Tiya. How do they look? When you enter the elevator, wait for the next, so as not to be flattened on the cake. And that's not all. Presuming the citizens of the United States can only envy us ponadtysiącletniej history, culture and sophistication in the world. Examples are not lacking. Here are 20 reasons why we are better than the Americans.
>> See the same, that we are better than the Americans!

I have nothing but respect for the Poles. As a matter of fact, I’ve inherited some blood from that great Country.
Reads to me like you used “Babblefish” for the translation which makes absolutely no sense to me.........
You've picked the wrong forum for the "little do you realize" line. Poland's friendship towards, alliance with, and assistance to America is well understood here on FR. I think, perhaps, if you read the thread you'll find that
a) We don't take the "insult" against us very seriously
b) We think that Zero is treating Poland badly
c) We're more disgusted with Hussein 0bama than you are.
See my previous posts. I refer to FReepers with due respect.
I'm sorry if I offended any of you. that was never my intention.
So, Americans, don't be surprised with the article like this. The feeling of sourness is ubiquitous in Poland.
I find the feeling of sourness quite understandable. And justifiable. Just don't forget, Poland, that a whole lot of Americans are vastly more angry with 0bama than you are.
Obama screwed them - they have the right to be unhappy.
I have never been to Poland but have always wanted to visit there someday. I hope I don't find that Poles hate all Americans because of one arrogant twit in the White House. I didn't vote for him, and won't vote for him when he runs again in 2012, 2016, 2020, etc.
I consider Poland to be an upright country. It is us (or shall I say our leadership) that has let you down.
Poland is alright in my book. Lately I understand they’ve been trying to bring up the birth rate among native Poles, reversing a general trend among European nations. I say, the more the merrier!
===Seriously, dude: Chill! I posted it under political humor and gave the necessary context...===
You should have told that at the beginning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I spraeche Deutsch sehr gut, und...I have an opportunity to watch German TV channels via satellite, and I just thought to myself you are one of those socialist morons who constantly have mocked Poland for her proatlantic course.
In such a case, I’m happy I was wrong! Never mind, man!
vox(PL)? - Voice of Poland, as my Latin serves?
Hmm...I think I know what you mean. Although my opinions may be not so much ubiquitous to speak for all Poles, but believe me or not, my views are VERY popular with the Polish people.
Yep...
You see, Russia seems to have returned to its Soviet roots. While Germans seem to have got rid of their f. Nazi past with dignity, Russia still isn't courageous enough to follow suit. Merkel (one of best German leaders ever) had enough honor to face the Nazi past of her nation at Westerplatte, Gdansk (Danzig) on Sep.1, 1939. Putin was there as well. Hearing Merkel, I was absolutely convinced she represented a totally altered nation that had only one thing in common with nazis - the language. However, hearing Putin I was pretty scared. The same Stalinist rhetoric. In brief - Soviet Union at its worst.
In such circumstances, Obama’s decision was a real shock to all conscious Poles. Pacifistic and leftist EU behind our Western border and a totalitarian dawn behind our East one.
That does cause serious concern.
So how many billions in military aid was the U.S. supposed to give Poland for the honor of spending billions more to build a missile shield to defend her? I’d heard that it was $50 billion but I can’t believe it was that high.
I remember how exciting things were when the Berlin wall fell. The revolution that took part in Poland was incredably inspirational to all who valued freedom. America was represented by a true leader (I love Ronnie)! That is when america and Poland seemed so united in their love for freedom. My husband is 50% Polish, he enjoys a good polish joke now and then (I don’t think he knows the origin of the Polish joke). The person who wrote that article either doesn’t remember, or doesn’t want others to remember how close the relationship between our two countries was. I do see alot of damage has been done, but I really hope Poland can hang in there until we figure out how to treat our friends well and our enemies like enemies, and not the other way around. I hope that the Polish people realize that this administration is really not representative of how Americans feel about the Polish People. Thank you for clearing up the article, it was difficult to figure out exactly where they were going with this!
And the Poles didn’t elect an internal enemy like Barack Obama to run their country.
I wish I could put flowers on Ronald Reagan's grave...
Thanks for reminding me what a REAL leader is like.
I miss him too...........
But remember, before we got Reagan, we had to endure Jimmy Carter (and his Polish translator).
