Complex of America? Not with us! Poles do not have the slightest reason to feel worse than the Americans. Quite the contrary. We are sending them to the head in almost every field. In our food is healthy - strawberry tastes like strawberry and tomato like tomato.

And in the U.S.? Sam shocker! Americans wcinają Crap and the power of Tiya. How do they look? When you enter the elevator, wait for the next, so as not to be flattened on the cake. And that's not all. Presuming the citizens of the United States can only envy us ponadtysiącletniej history, culture and sophistication in the world. Examples are not lacking. Here are 20 reasons why we are better than the Americans.

“Bezmózgowców” is a plural form of “bezmózgowiec’, which means “a brain-less one”.

I'm afraid it may be unpronounceable for a foreigner

Let me have a crack at it.

"dem-uh-krat"

How close was I?

Pretty close, actually :-)

I know another, yet close definition - “A liberal - is a person, who has an open head. At both ends”. :-)

And allowed Poland to be raped and enslaved by our "allie" "Uncle Joe" Stalin.
No, they allowed it to happen to themselves.
How long have you been a member of the club?

Are they? Doesn't sound like it from this article.

Well, it's a knee-jerk reaction to the missile shield debacle (i.e. Poland having a stand-off with Russia including a trade war etc. without getting anything in return). Of course Poles feel that they got f*cked again - not as much as by the WWII allies, but the reflex is still intact.

Best laugh it off!

And one reason why you're not: Poland doesn't have the technical know-how, the industrial base, or the military capability to design, build, and maintain their own missile shield.

True, but the Polish military gets courage points for charging German tanks with horse cavalry. Stupid to be sure, but courageous.

And they did give the world pierogies.

Yeah, Poland should have ignored the fact that their military was ruined, the people starved and they had no weapons and fought the battle tested Russian army fresh off the victory with Germany.
FDR and the other allies sold the Polish people into slavery. And that shows how much appeasement works.

If they "allowed" it to happen, I'm sure it had nothing to do with the 500,000 Soviet troops stationed there after WWII and the absence of 6 million partiots that lost their lives in the conflict. Of course that was later scaled back to a paltry 150,000 troops and a heavy KGB presence but that's no reason at all to accept the boot of communism on your neck just because the boot of communism happens to be on your neck.

Yeah they sure are spineless just "allowing" that to happen.

Why take it out on us?????

Well, think about it like the ever-popular "Euroweenie" derision on FR. Dumb ignorance is dumb ignorance on either side of the Atlantic.

Seems more like you fit in with the club of Jimmy Carter, Ted Kennedy and Kerry. I belong to the club of Ronald Reagan who stood up for the freedom of Americans first but also for the right to freedom of all people around the world, especially those who were enslaved by the “evil empire” the Soviet Union.

While Reagan was supporting Poland in their struggle for liberation from the Soviets, your boy Teddy was meeting with Soviet personnel planning ways to foil Reagan.

And don’t even talk to me about Jimmy Carter, the worst president we had until Obama, the man who pulled the rug out from under the Shah.

I suppose you would have allowed Saddam Hussein to stay in Kuwait. After all, according to your logic, Kuwait allowed it to happen to themselves.

Blame America First Club my ass. How long have you belonged to the “Blame the Victim, Appease the Enemy First” Club?

"Id like to think that most Poles know that most Americans consider them valued friends and allies."

Are we their friends? They have been our friends, and we have betrayed them.

On Sept. 17, 2009, Obama announced that we are betraying Poland by dismantling the missile shield, in order to improve US relations with his pal Putin. This was exactly 70 years after Poland was invaded by US ally Soviet Union on Sept. 17, 1939, at the start of World War II.

Was Obama aware of the symbolism of this day? I do not think this was a freak coincidence; he wanted them to know they were being betrayed in the name of the US.

Of course Poles feel that they got f*cked again...

I think their ire is more because the U.S. had promised billions in military aid for the dubious pleasure of spending still more billions to build a missile shield to protect them. Now they don't get all those bucks.

If anyone was set to get f*cked in the deal it was the U.S.

My father fought in a World War to liberate Poland.

My Gosh. Do you have any idea how idiotic that statement is? What, was your grandfather a soldier in Stalin's Army?

That is a conclusion that troubles me;like Pickett's Charge at Gettysburg, when you charge forward to certain destruction I think the stupidity cancels out the courage.

Better for Poland if all the brave soldiers had been ordered to conduct guerrilla operations.Wine bottles of gasoline or kerosene as a weapon was known before Molotov, sniping from cover and concealment as well.A stand-up fight with lances and even machine guns against armored vehicles was a criminal waste of Polish men.But the communists still feared the educated Polish officer enough to murder 15,000 taken prisoners by Uncle Joe's Red Army.

Now I'll admit that Dorota Gawron kicks Paris Hilton's a$$-even if she does share a last name with a ruthless Klingon leader.

But the author leaves out the most important difference.

Other than Poles, no one really cares what Poland thinks.
