Levin has always been my least favorite conservative commentator. The guy is just simply not a deep thinker. His radio show consists of a bunch of ad hominem attacks and a strict ideology. He’s not a guy like Limbaugh or Savage who can win you over with solid arguments and oratorial genius. Nor a guy who digs like Beck does.
Levin frankly bores me. Our local talk radio station replaced Savage with this dope, only to hear him say “You big dope!” about a dozen times an hour. Not impressed.
Both Beck and Levin are priceless. If there was a radio station that had Beck in the morning Rush at 12 to 3 and Levin right after that well that station would be unbeatable.I sleep during hannity. These three guys are tops as far as I am concerned.
Levin should focus on the real problems-not Glenn Beck. Conservatives/libertarians should stop analyzing other conservatives/libertarians.
Makes me smile to think about it. ;-)

Excellent points, JLS. I am no great McCain fan. I voted for Fred Thompson in the primary.
I haven’t heard Rush attack Beck. Have you?
Don’t fall for this feeble leftist attempt to divide us. They’re desperate. Don’t give them an advantage.
As far as Levin is concerned, I didn’t listen to him before, but if he’s going to attack Beck. a fellow conservative and a damned effective one, I sure as hell won’t bother to listen to him now. His loss. Not mine.
They do see it. They see it on all the websites who’s work Glenn is quoting before Glenn talks about it. Beck gets his research from all those who have all ready done it for him.
Let’s see:
1. The Generals are now asking for more troops. I think while he has a stuborn streak, he would go along with what the commanders of the troops want. I know this much, I trust McCain more to make military decisions than Obama. How about you?
2. You may have missed this but the ACORN tapes were made by private citizen journalist. So you figure that had McCain won Ms. Giles would not have gone jogging past the ACORN office or she would have beent thinking about McCain and not thought I wonder what is going on in there? These tapes embarrass Dim and GOP members of Congress into defunding them. It takes Dims to defund them whether or not McCain is president.
Exactly! Because that is SO obvious we will unite and create a movement against that which has been happening since Progressives have infiltrated all schools and most media, etc. in the 1900's
The Cultural Marxism has to be shoved back into the toilet that it escaped from==and most of McCain's ideas (although, not all, like zero's)are from that same sewer. There would have been NO MOMENTUM against McCain because of his false "Republican" label.
Mark has been picking a lot of fights lately, frankly I don’t really understand it, unless it’s to try and get some attention??? Beck is just the latest and it disappoints me in Mark greatly... he is doing the same thing Savage did and caused me to stop listening to his program, I don’t like personal attacks on other commentators — I don’t like it when MSNBC allows their people to do it nightly against Fox and I don’t like it when commentators like Savage or Levin do it against other radio/TV commentators... it’s petty and small.
Yep, I did not care for any of those in the GOP primary last time. Hopefully Palin will run and we can have a candidate we can all get behind strongly the next time.
But whomever it is the moderates got their candidate the last time and then abandoned him for Obama. So they have had their shot for a few cycles.
agreed. I think Beck is making the argument that people have made about Carter winning over Ford. Yes, Carter was bad, but it was his failures that galvanized people and ultimately led to Reagan. If Ford had won, it’s highly unlikely Reagan ever would have President. In that sense Ford would have been worse than Carter because not only would he probably not have been all that different, but he would have prevented Reagan from taking office.
So McCain is worse in the sense that if he had won the same anti-Bush opposition would be in place, but the conservative regrouping and whatever is going on that is going on would not really have taken root.
That said, I’d rather have McCain anyday, and I bet deep down, Glenn would as well. Besides, if you believe what the media and the left told us, McCain wouldn’t be President now anyway. He’d have died by the Spring and the VP would have taken over.
Perhaps Levin would be better off writing..
What a simple minded post.
But I can learn something from Levin. He really has had skin in the game for a hell of a longer than the other talkers.
I honestly don't get the controversy. He offered his opinion about Beck's comments and he DON'T mince words when he is speaking his mind. This is manufactures controversy IMO.
Thanks. It’s best to get right to the point. Glad you like it...
That sums it up.
The Week should be renamed The Weak. I read their article and learned absolutely nothing. It was poorly written and showed a picture of Beck next to a picture of a guy that’s certainly not Mark Levin. It’s not even Carl Levin or Harvey Levin.
Besides, no one’s mind is going to be changed as a result of a weak-sauce article like that.
