Statement by Carter L. Clews to Steve Capus via the Americans For Limited Government website:
The increasingly hysterical responses by NBC news boss Steve Capus to the escalating Stonegate Scandal are disappointing at best and chilling at worst. Here is a man who runs what used to be a highly respected major news bureau who now finds himself conjuring up gremlins in cyberspace to defend what appears to be horrendously bigoted behavior within his own news room.
Having spoken directly with Mr. Capus for nearly 15 minutes Friday afternoon, I want to once again repeat my offer to him: if you really dont believe that Ms Stone sent the Bite me, Jew boy email to ALG staffer Alex Rosenwald, we will be happy to work with you to track down who sent it from her Blackberry using her email address.
This is precisely the same offer I made to Ms Stone at 11:00AM Friday morning, when she denied having sent any such email to Alex Rosenwald. Now, Mr. Capus has changed her story to say that, yes, she sent an email on Thursday, but it did not say Bite me, Jew boy.

Oh, the stories are changing....getting them in a corner!
Good work.
NBC could sue, but that would open up their server logs to the discovery phase of the trial. That’s why they won’t sue.
Get your lies straight, ok?
lmao...lie, deny, cover up, evade...it’s the new democratic way, you know.
So many liberals going down either protecting BO or protecting their own rotten institutions. The light is being turned on and the cockroaches are running, lying all the way.
I love the smell of “tolerance” in the morning. Goes well with a big glass of hypocrisy.
What, exactly, is the Stonegate Scandal?
It's a lesson that conservatives and some Republicans have indeed learned. Unfortunately, the children, from the jOker on down, are in charge right now.
And they will never "know better"...
As the article and the comments over at the Biggovernment.com say, this is pretty easy to figure out. Either this e-mail is in her sent file or not. Either it went through the MS-NBC’s server or not.
Come to think of it, it's not probably not even a choice and she might be both - a stupid, pompous anti-Semite.

Good question. I clicked on the link, and the story there gives no more background info than the excerpt here.
I’d say it should be pretty obvious from the story above.
Stone + gate = Stonegate.
“I want to once again repeat my offer to him: if you really dont believe that Ms Stone sent the Bite me, Jew boy email to ALG staffer Alex Rosenwald, we will be happy to work with you to track down who sent it from her Blackberry using her email address.”
Evidently, the NBC staffer who sent the e-mail was a "Ms. Stone".
The author of this piece morphed it into Stonegate...
MSNBC guest star and father of Mika, Zbig Brezinski has said that Obama should shoot down Israeli jets over Iraq that were attacking Iran. How’s that for some off the wall hatred, when he should be thanking the Israelis for having the stones that he and Carter could never muster.
Now MSNBC has vicious emails being spewed - and it is becoming impossible to deny.
There is something rotten with MSNBC. GE is getting to be a scary place, like some big bad corporation from a B-grade movie, plotting with the government against the people, propagandizing on TV, as hard as it can, trading with Iran.
