It is the first story in the Above The Fold Section with the title of Unilateral Response.
Also, just announced on The Live Desk, Ahmadinejad's original news conference was cancelled for this afternoon at 5PM EDT. However, he recently stated he would hold a new conference within the hour (before 3PM EDT).
If today’s announcement about a hidden nuke facility wasn’t a go signal, I don’t know what is.
Why all this signaling? If Israel wants to signal their intention to use force, I would suggest that they do so by physically delivering explosives to the targets. That signal is sufficiently clear, isn’t it?
If they are going to do it, the sooner the better. Oil, Global Economy will take a hit but should recover faster than from a “test” of an Iranian nuke...
If they going prayers for the brave men and women of the IDF.
It is WAY past time for them to take care of their own business.
Obama sure isn't going to help them.
America should be doing all it can to assist the Israelis.
I believe we would under any other President.
watch Bibi’s speech. he clearly communicated that either the UN do something about Iran, or Israel will. There will be mideast war within 6 months
It’s obvious the “talks” coming up next week are going to by an abysmal failure. I’m guessing before Christmas.

Zbignew Brizenski calls on Obama to shoot down Israeli planes if they attack Iran.
He’s assuming they’ll just launch an airstrike. Whatever the Israelis do, I think it’s going to be something unique and unexpected.
A few months ago, one or two of Israel’s submarines transited the Suez into the Red Sea, current whereabouts unknown.
The Arabian Sea is a big place.
Re your #13: “...Brizenski calls on Obama to shoot down Israeli planes if they attack Iran.”
(The following is a mixture of selected WND news text and inserted commentary by myself and a friend from a recent e-mail I sent out. I’ll try to clean it up a little...)
>
> “The national security adviser during the administration of President Jimmy Carter says the United States should (TRY TO) shoot down Israeli jets if that nation chooses to take military action against a nuclear project in Iran.”
Yeah; right... IF they CAN!
The last time the US Air Force had “War Games” with the IDFAF, the US planes had millions of $$ worth of all the latest sophisticated space age technology, and all the IDF pilots had were radar detectors like you can get for your car stuck into their cockpits.
The IDFAF kicked our USAF’s A$$ all over the sky!
So if our arrogant Muslim mulatto-king wants us to shoot down Israeli jets, he may embarrassingly wind up with a lot less airplanes and at least a few less American Pilots for his efforts. Our military is going to find out what it’s like to actually have to go up against another air power that unlike Sadam Insane’s sorry excuse for an “Air Farce” amounts to a p- hole in the snow (which they haven’t had to do since the 1950s in Korea) playing for keeps, and very possibly LOSE!
.. Surprise, surprise.
It wouldn’t be the first time that a vastly “superior” military force has been gobsmacked hard by the IDF.
Don’t wanna go there, fellas... trust me on that - or if you don’t want to trust me, trust GOD.
>
> Zbigniew Brzezinski, in an interview with the Daily Beast website, declared, “We are not exactly impotent little babies.”
Fine thing for a bloody DEMOCRAT to say!!!
> “Israel long has been thought to be considering a military strike against operations in Iran that could result in a nuclear weapon for the regime of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
>
> Israel has stated that it is unwilling to have its future threatened by a leader who believes it should be wiped off the map, as Ahmadinejad has stated, with access to nuclear weapons.”
Well Bully for them, then!
>
> But such an Israeli attack on Iran probably would have to fly over coalition airspace in Iraq. “Are we just going to sit there and watch?” Brzezinski demanded.
He’d damned well better if he knows what’s good for him... and our Air Force!
>
> “He said the U.S. has to be “serious” about denying Israel the right to attack.”
It’s about gdd time that Obama and his communist fascist Islammophile flunkies got over trying to DICTATE to Israel how they are going to run their affairs, dummit!
Did you hear how the Liberation Theologist in chief told the UN that we shouldn’t be meddling in the affairs of other Nations - while he ORDERS Israel to “freeze” Jerusalem development, then tells the Palis that THEY will be living in the homes being built in the Jewish territories, and not the Jews?
WTF is up with THAT??!!
I love how “Bibi” Netanyahu tells Obama to butt out and go pound sand up his *bleep* and leave Israel the hell alone!
OH, doesn’t that just p*** the tin pot “community organizer” tyrant wannabe off!
>
> “That means a denial where you aren’t just saying it. If they fly over, you go up and confront them.”
Brave talk for a cowardly political hack who gets to stay in secure, luxurious digs back in Washington while ordering brave American Airmen up to go up and commit suicide for him.
>
> “They have the choice of turning back or not,” he said.
If I know anything about the IDF, I would sorta go with the “NOT” option.
>
> “No one wishes for this but it could be a Liberty in reverse,” he said.
>
> The Liberty was a U.S. ship in international waters in the Middle East during the Six-Day War in 1967 that was hit (blown all to spit actually) by Israeli gunfire.
It has long been debated whether this was an unfortunate mistaken identity “Friendly fire” accident or a subtle hint from the IDF to interloping Yankees to butt the hell out of Israel’s war.
The IDF is not in the habit of taking much crap from anyone - including their “allies”.
>
> “Brzezinski advised Carter on confrontations in Iran, Afghanistan and the Middle East during Carter’s White House tenure.”
Yeah; and those of us who were around at the time remember what a great resounding victory that was! (NOT!!!)
Hell; America was the laughing stock of the World!
That’s when guys like Osamma Bin Ladden and the Ayatola Qumeni realized that they could kick America in the cohones any time they wanted to and we wouldn’t do much of anything about it.
>
> “He said the Obama administration also already should have developed “a clearer position on what we are prepared to do to promote a Palestinian-Israeli peace.”
(They don’t want peace!!! They want to annihilate Jews! Obama HATES Jews!!)
>
> “Simply giving a frequent-traveler ticket to George Mitchell is not the same thing as policy. It took a long time to get going on Iran, but there is an excuse there, the Iranian domestic mess. And we are now eight months into the administration, and I would have thought by now we could have formulated a strategy that we would have considered ‘our’ strategy for dealing with Iran and Pakistan,” he said.
(He’s too busy ruining America to busy himself with shooting down Jews!!!)
>
> “For example, the Carter administration, which is sometimes mocked,...
SOMETIMES!!!!?
And rightfully so! He was a bloody catastrophe!
>
> ...by now had in motion a policy of disarmament with the Russians, which the Russians didn’t like, but eventually bought;
AFTER REAGAN came along!
>
> it had started a policy of normalization with the Chinese; it rammed through the Panama Canal treaty; and it was moving very, very openly toward an Israeli-Arab political peace initiative,” he said.”
Oh yeah; “Land for Peace”... That’s worked out so bloody well, hasn’t it?
>
> WND columnist and New York Times best-selling author Mike Evans wrote about Brzezinski just before the 2008 election, explaining how Obama added Brzezinski to his list of “advisers.” (Of Course!! No one is MORE evil than this Nazi!)
>
> “One of Brzezinski’s first jobs as adviser was to defend Obama’s plan, if elected, to meet with Iran and Syria: (Yes, Obama’s people...)’What’s the hand-up about negotiating with the Syrians or Iranians?’ asked Brzezinski. ‘What it in effect means is that you only talk to people who agree with you.’
>
> “People who agree with you?” wrote Evans. “I, for one, would like to know just why Obama would want to talk with Iran’s president who denies the Holocaust, has called Israel a ‘stinking corpse’ and vowed to wipe it off the map.” (EXACTLY!)
>
> WND columnist Ben Shapiro noted about that time Brzezinski “believes that the Jewish lobby forces America into pro-Israel policy, and he defends Carter’s anti-Semitic book, “Peace, Not Apartheid.”
Both are *bleep*holes!
What America (for which read, the US government) *should* be doing, and what it *will* be doing, are likely to be two very different things. What the rest of America (for which read, sane folks) should be doing is... pray...
